Watchin Salford beat Rochdale 68-0 in the egg chasing, then followed by the afformentioned Hamilton win with an exceptional drive. No other sport happened for me this week -
Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer replied to Natasha's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Well i think the lack of people in the ground should be a grave cause for concern for the chairman. that is certainly one area where gartside has not exactly excelled in his job. We are in the premiership (well for now anyway) and yet our average attendance has fallen drastically since we first got in, even though until this season we have gone from strength to strength. The reasons have been discussed many times on here and a lot of them do not take a genius to work most of them out. At least 2 years ago the upper management should have been working on this, reducing prices, finding out what the matchday experience problems were. but they haven't and altough now we are starting to react with the cheap euro tickets, it is too little too late if we go crashing out of the prem this year. not that i am calling for his head btw, just for him to pull his finger out and start doing what a chairman should do. drive the business to get the customers -
Not if you are with direct line, they will give you something like 150 for medical expenses but that wont get you into the waiting room at any decent specialist

Sacked In The Morning....

You dont need any clause like that. International manager should get a 2 year contract and only a 2 year contract. If you qualify and do allright at the tournamant you get another 2 years. You would have thought that the fa would have learnt from paying ericsson shed loads of money, but it would appear not. -

Yeh he did seem to be a little on the bulky side but i thought he had a decent game, as for going to ground easily i didnt really see too many incidents where i would have said that, he did get clattered quite a few times. -
Just left powergen for scottish power, they do an online plan that you have to read your own meters when they send you an email. practically halved my leccy and gas bill. Powergen are useless, when i rang them up to give them a chance to price match they managed to offer me a plan that cost more than what i was on anyway. muppets!

Itv Coverage
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer replied to HuffyTheCampfireSlayer's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Two disallowed goals?? Yup ITV really know how to cut it on the sports coverage. YOu know, if we do get relegated (i know there is still a long way to go), I think one of the worst aspects would be that our highlights would be in ITV's the championship. -
What the hell is the deal with ITV coverage, watched the cup highlights last night and it was about 1 hour of Tottenham and Chelski, then what felt like one hour of Robbie Earl droning on then finally 5 minutes of all the other games. Oh and not to mentin the 5 minute piece on Alan Sugar Anyway I discovered today that apparently Fulham had a goal disallowed, anyone actually know if it was onside or not as ITV saw fit not to show that?

Thats crap, i can get to the reebok within 20 minutes from town in my car, not to mention the busses and as mentioned before the train station right next to the ground. Bet it was a southerner who had never actually been to the reebok. Now if you were talking about worst ground to get out of after a game, then hmm maybe yes

Gorilla In The Air Tonight...
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer replied to a topic in Behind The Stands - 'Classics'
Nice, caught the end of it last night and wondered what the hell it was about. The question I have to wonder is if it is a real gorilla doing the drumming, some people say it is some say not. -
Oi - Bedwetting Liberals!
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer replied to Smiffs's topic in Behind The Stands - 'Classics'
You would have to get in line i think. Sadly we would probably end up with a bigger prison sentence as we messed with his human rights. Seems strange that you only ever hear criminals using this human rights bollox to get away with stuff. Maybe i should go beat up some of those 'bedwetting liberals' instead. -
Help Needed: Pc Crashing And Freezing.
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer replied to Traf's topic in Geeks Corner
You could have a cooling problem on you processor. My machine started doing that a while back, when i looked at the cpu temperature in bios it was running at about 110 Degrees. Looked inside and the cooling fan wasnt spinning properly. Changed the fan, problem solved. Just open you machine up and check all fans are connected and spinning (also worth hoovering it out if you can) -

Normally i would run a mile when i hear beatboxing, however i saw this guy in between DJ sets in london at a club and he amazed me, there is no sampling or back tracks, all you can hear is coming out of his mouth. -
Although you always want a ref to have a decent game, we really need to be winning on our own two feet, not relying on a referee.

Well it would appear that Sheffield have lost their case, Did we expect anything different? Sheffield loses appeal

Sounds like another knee jerk reaction that this country is so spectacular at doing without actually bothering to find out the root cause of problems. I have played this banned games predecessor and at no point have i ever thought, "you know what i am going to do today, i think i shall hunt someone down and smash their head in with a hammer". Now if you are thinking about that then i sense you are a little disturbed anyway and probably will do this regardless of if you have played a game or not. Mind on the flip side i played Pacman as a youth and i do spend a lot of time in darkened rooms eating magic pills and listening to repetetive electronic music

For torrents i use utorrent, seems to be the best by far in terms of speed, just make sure you open the ports correctly (their is a test in the software to check for you which is handy)

Season Ticket Rip Off
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer replied to andyacky's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Maybe they will see sense and price it to what the majority can afford again. More likely they will just try to make the difference up from the few loyal fans. Personally i got annoyed with football a long time ago and really have just been doing the motions of late. Started going to watch a bit of chase the egg down in salford. Beer on the terraces, atmosphere in the ground, something going on on the field (albeit dont know whats goin on half the time) and all this for a tenner plus a whole ?2 to park outside the ground. Can't argue really. -
Season Ticket Rip Off
HuffyTheCampfireSlayer replied to andyacky's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
You're right it is, and the supply is totally outstripping the demand. Therefore by simple economics you have to reduce the prices until the demand is greater than the supply. But then football seems to work on its own set of financial rules. -

How the hell did the family not know he was decapitated in the accident?? someone would have to have identified the body and usually the lack of a head is fairly obvious, even to the most untrained of eyes. -
Try the services thing above, if that fails go to the microsoft site and download the latest windows installer (3.1 i think) and install it, you could have a corrupt installer.

Thats is ridiculous, but made more so by the idiot of a son. Now I dont know about anyone on here but if my mothers oxygen supply was about to be cut off and i could do nothing to stop it I think i would consider, erm i don't know, maybe move her to another house that does have electricity until it could be sorted.
