  1. Sad news. Another one of my dad's favourites, love hearing his tales about "that" defence. RIP Roy.
  2. Agreed. Strangely positive after a loss.
  3. Be just like us to win on Saturday .
  4. Worst bit for me is how all this has got fans fighting one another. Dreadful stuff. Love bumping into fellow whites, can talk shite with the best of them. If he does get potted, let's hope this is the low point of the last few years and we can start getting behind a TEAM. Have my doubts though.
  5. Come on ref, blow yer whistle. Please
  6. Suppose we should've known what we were in for after his team selection for that Blackpool game to get into the playoffs. Onwards and upwards.
  7. No but at least it's the usual 60/40 possesion stat.
  8. JP not for me either. Not the time to stick in a novice really.
  9. Get Mason, Lee and Davies on and we'll piss this. (Unless someone notices we've took no-one off ) No, if we can get in 1-0, we can get something.
  10. Always a glass half full person me, but I reckon I've just about drained it . Getting closer then, where there's life there's hope. Come on lads.
  11. He isn't bothered. Must know he's going and is making sure we don't win in the meantime. Twat. A team set up to not score, sadly Mounts. Starting to hurt this. COYWM
  12. Been thinking more about 82/83,3rd season out of top flight and got relegated. Can't happen again can it?
  13. Get the fuck in and ref, blow that bloody whistle
  14. Just like being back in the prem, hoping 3 teams are worse than us. Not at the moment, long season though, can always hope ?
  15. Never mind getting relegated in a couple of years we're going down this year under Doug.
  16. Can second Riva and as mentioned, you can get boats easy enough to travel up and down the lake. Did Venice and Verona as day trips from there, enjoyed both but bloody long days.
  17. I'm 45 and the whites haven't won a (major) trophy in my lifetime. Wigan have, fuckin Wigan !! They weren't even a proper team when I started watching football. Not having it. Can see 'em winning it all again though as Arsenal are bottlers extraordinaire.
  18. Playing at Burnden as a schoolkid in a cup final. Paul Jones telling me I'd had a great game afterwards.
  19. This was the one I thought of as soon as I read the OP. Something like 8 one touch passes from one end to the other. Extraordinary goal.
  20. Might have done but I only remember the match
  21. First game at the Wanderers. What a bloody ride!!! Hopefully get a few more in yet. COYWM
  22. Aye, it's come to something when Barnsley scored late on and I thought nice, done us a favour there Deary me
