I nearly knocked over the Olympic Torch in Ayia Napa 2000....having a drunken scuffle, a few of us came staggering out of a bar straight in to the gang of 10 or so runners carrying it..couple of them got knocked over before getting up and booting us up the arse before setting off on their merry way again

u You're bang on there RoadRunner about the estates...can't think of any estates that are as notorious or crime ridden as they were in the 80's/90s.

Worked for years with kids who have severe behavioural problems. Always been an in house joke about how full moons would mean a tricky day. Not trying pretend it's anything scientific, but one staff member used to go through the daily logs/records and during periods of full moons, assaults and violent behaviour would always significantly increase.
