  1. Could go in a multitude of threads but Made I laugh
  2. Have a cross reference to different local paper FB news feed and see the common themes and text. Bots and lots of them
  3. Fewer people got dead in last two weeks than five year average https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiYmUwNmFhMjYtNGZhYS00NDk2LWFlMTAtOTg0OGNhNmFiNGM0IiwidCI6ImVlNGUxNDk5LTRhMzUtNGIyZS1hZDQ3LTVmM2NmOWRlODY2NiIsImMiOjh9
  4. Serious bit of kit that. Places I described before are long day trip distance and smaller ones youd be mooring and using tender. May be worth considering trip with stop in Falmouth to get around Lizard and St Ives . PS first thing to know in sailing lessons is why its called a boom
  5. The shopping centre resembles eastern Europe I'll grant you having been worst affected in country by the blitz but Barbican and the Hoe take some beating in the summer.
  6. Get lot of locals using light tackle around Plymouth and a lot of the Eastern European community get involved
  7. Mayflower marina is other side of town from Barbican. Royal William Yard has some chain and couple of decent independent restaurants. The Artillery Tower at Devil's Point one of the best in city but you'll need to book way in advance. Cremyl foot ferry over to Mt Edgecombe worth a trip. Decent pub food over there or if you're in the boat short trip within main bay to Cawsand and Kingsand. Expect your sister will have planned longer trips but want advice give me idea of size of boat so can work out more off track places can go, but cant go wrong with being able to sail to Noss Mayo, Burgh Island, Hope Cove , Salcombe and Dartmouth going east and Looe, Fowey (Polperro if got a tender) and Charlestown going west.
  8. You'll be lucky to find much accommodation left in tourists traps. There are lots of B&Bs around the Hoe in walking distance of Barbican if she in Sutton Harbour or Queen Anne and you want to be able to meet up in evenings. If you are looking to be a bit further out look a little inland to Yealmpton or Modbury as the true yachty spots could be 5k per week to rent anything near Salcombe or Dartmouth
  9. Outside the wire on netflix ok to pass couple of hours with teenagers. Why the hell is Justice League coming in at 4 hours?
  10. Is he fat or obese? Three grand slams and a world player of the year suggest he might be allowed to have a rest now. Perhaps not the right type of national sporting hero for the Benidorm brigade
  11. Increasing Sarce and Doyle's wages should be enough of a clue
  12. The Exeter fans I work with quite correctly said, well you should with a budget 2-3 times bigger than pretty much everyone else in the league. Felt a bit Roger the Red for a few minutes. With what our respective clubs put us through through administration enjoy every last minute
  13. It's that important, it's taken over two months like Xmas
  14. With a Charlie Chaplin moustache?
  15. U21s lost to Switzerland. Quality
  16. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-56509340 Some scary numbers could be stacking up for long covid symptoms with up to 70% of over 400,000 hospital admissions not fully recovered. On brighter note shows years of suffering man-flu has made us hardier than doris.
  17. Only works if every country follows same rules I'm supposed to be going Turkey in July which given their vaccination role out seems feasible. Will they only open to English at 20% capacity or will German, French, Russian etc tourists be allowed in.
  18. As others have said the position gets made redundant not the person so if she doesn't volunteer they have to open "job at risk" consultation . Worst thing I've ever been involved with when represented colleague in interview knowing one who should have gone (last in door and useless) was gnoshing GM.
  19. Reckon worth a trip to see these soon in case they take off. More early Verve than Oasis but could break through.
  20. Citeh have beaten you to that idea. Xylem (water and waste treatment firm who sponsor them) have a filtration plant for the roof water and the produce a beer from it. By the way top Mark's with the Jamiraquot can. When we get back in pubs and they have bumped all prices of keg up to £6 a pint we'll know who to blame
  21. Is it though?, as if a 5K fine is going to stop Tarquin and Jemima heading to Provence or skiing. Just gives the Costa dwellers an excuse.
  22. More than that but pretty low and a lockdown lifesaver for the yoof who have struggled to joyride, drug themselves and get STDs to normal levels https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiYmUwNmFhMjYtNGZhYS00NDk2LWFlMTAtOTg0OGNhNmFiNGM0IiwidCI6ImVlNGUxNDk5LTRhMzUtNGIyZS1hZDQ3LTVmM2NmOWRlODY2NiIsImMiOjh9
  23. Eastville? To busy dodging bricks being launched off Mway to notice much only trip there.
