  1. West Ham. Need some cockernees
  2. Be the Leipzig bloke. Germans are the new Spanish
  3. Not sure if Abramovich wants some of his money back but reckon Chelsea and City could break rank as know this is only way the 'istree clubs can compete with them and PSG now that they have beaten FFP. The yank owned clubs need to service Massive debt. Spurs have to pay for stadium they wont be filling with NFL fans anytime soon. Barca and Real both up to their necks in debt and need huge stadium redevelopment. They are all desperate for extra revenue while City and Chelsea quietly turn their Academy into gold mines Given UEFA were about to put aside places for teams with 'istree who failed to qualify to cover the odd chance some team breaks the cartel the indignation against this is hypocritical beyond belief with Sky knowing individual club streaming deals will kill them.
  4. Alanis Morissette likes Gaz Nev getting on his high horse on MNF.
  5. New Netflix No1 Love and Monsters. Totally pissed on the whole Cloverfield, Monsters franchise vibe . Avoid
  6. Congratulations NIC. Can put you in touch with some farms and orchards if you're going full beardy hipster toasting with jam jars experience
  7. https://www.westons-cider.co.uk/product/vintage-still-cider-1-x-10l/ 29 notes for 10L of Vintage. Who needs pubs? Need a new liver and some gout tablets but not a pub.
  8. Good shout. Greyhound recently got me as my "waste of space alky" grandad climbed out of three separate sinking convoy escorts before getting packed off to Burma. Poor sod lived his life with PTSD and was vilified by society. No, his name wasn't Albert. Strangely enough when Stallone, Caine, Pele et al are looking around at the surrender monkeys chanting Victoire gets me every time.
  9. Chelsea skins getting in early for SF. You heard it here first
  10. Dusted. Should be looking at the top spot now. Can you all bring your own @Rudybranded patio furniture next season? Bugger to get a table on Barbican
  11. Couldn't Mrs Crawley gone Sinead for few months to save "colour stripping ". To be fair though few who have been paying equivalent of £10 a pint for canned ale throwing stones. "Is that what you want, coz that's what will happen " to paraphrase Enfield.
  12. Godzilla vs Kong. Bit of mindless fun but would have been more plausible if they dug out the rubber suits from 70s.
  13. Are you mental? "If one were to classify Britain's 'sleeping giants' in order, Cardiff might be tops for self-destruction, Hull has the largest population never to have supported top flight football, but Plymouth, surely, has the ground location which most clubs would die for." (Simon Inglis) intro to Football Grounds of Great Britain.
  14. Chaos Walking. What a mess. Started in 2017 and allegedly 125M budget starring Tom Holland and Daisy maid from Star Wars and still manages to look like episode of Walking Dead.
  15. Come on Boris. Only the BAME with low vaccination take up getting dead more than 5 year average. https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiYmUwNmFhMjYtNGZhYS00NDk2LWFlMTAtOTg0OGNhNmFiNGM0IiwidCI6ImVlNGUxNDk5LTRhMzUtNGIyZS1hZDQ3LTVmM2NmOWRlODY2NiIsImMiOjh9
  16. Could go in a multitude of threads but Made I laugh
  17. Have a cross reference to different local paper FB news feed and see the common themes and text. Bots and lots of them
  18. Fewer people got dead in last two weeks than five year average https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiYmUwNmFhMjYtNGZhYS00NDk2LWFlMTAtOTg0OGNhNmFiNGM0IiwidCI6ImVlNGUxNDk5LTRhMzUtNGIyZS1hZDQ3LTVmM2NmOWRlODY2NiIsImMiOjh9
  19. Serious bit of kit that. Places I described before are long day trip distance and smaller ones youd be mooring and using tender. May be worth considering trip with stop in Falmouth to get around Lizard and St Ives . PS first thing to know in sailing lessons is why its called a boom
  20. The shopping centre resembles eastern Europe I'll grant you having been worst affected in country by the blitz but Barbican and the Hoe take some beating in the summer.
  21. Get lot of locals using light tackle around Plymouth and a lot of the Eastern European community get involved
  22. Mayflower marina is other side of town from Barbican. Royal William Yard has some chain and couple of decent independent restaurants. The Artillery Tower at Devil's Point one of the best in city but you'll need to book way in advance. Cremyl foot ferry over to Mt Edgecombe worth a trip. Decent pub food over there or if you're in the boat short trip within main bay to Cawsand and Kingsand. Expect your sister will have planned longer trips but want advice give me idea of size of boat so can work out more off track places can go, but cant go wrong with being able to sail to Noss Mayo, Burgh Island, Hope Cove , Salcombe and Dartmouth going east and Looe, Fowey (Polperro if got a tender) and Charlestown going west.
  23. You'll be lucky to find much accommodation left in tourists traps. There are lots of B&Bs around the Hoe in walking distance of Barbican if she in Sutton Harbour or Queen Anne and you want to be able to meet up in evenings. If you are looking to be a bit further out look a little inland to Yealmpton or Modbury as the true yachty spots could be 5k per week to rent anything near Salcombe or Dartmouth
