It was the manner of the defeat for me, spunked countless chances like we were playing a friendly without a care in the world and then absolutely comical defending for their equalizer, winner and also the second penalty. Toal, Conway, Tutu, Gale, Bonham and Ref all shit. Never seen a keeper as piss weak as Bonham. His distribution is good but little else. We'll do Bradford I think but the final is anyone's guess and it depends on which team shows up on the day.

Davis - says he has no idea how he passed the medical. Speaks well of Megson and quite poorly of Coyle. Not much else on Bolton but he seems a lively character. Wish it had worked out for him here as he was definitely a talent when fit.

Glad to have rescued another draw but time and time again we can see why we won't get near top 2. Positives I thought Tutu had another great game given he was targeted for the entire first half and had no help from Apter. His levels of fitness are also really impressive, doesn't look like he's slowed down at all by the 90th minute. Dempsey and Sheehan did reasonably well as a 2 in the middle. Kenny was very good and fought well for his goal. Dalby also played pretty well. Conway was very poor, he needs to improve his consistency if we wants to play at a higher level. Once again its defensive lapses that stopped us winning.

Incredible..no idea how we've won that but I'll take it. Tutu, Bonham, Forino all did really well.

At first I thought it was very harsh but he did give the ref a decision to make didn't he. I think that comes from his complete lack of ability to jump or compete in the air.

Gale is just so frustrating

I feel like I've seen enough of Bonham at this point. Too many mistakes. Never a #1 keeper, backup at best like every keeper we've had since Trafford.

I remember Puygrenier being pretty solid but Megson decided against signing him permanently. But yes, pure desperation with the Rasiak and Makukula signings.

This half brought back some memories. Taylor and Steinsson both hits. Cohen was value for 65k but was nothing special and went on to do nothing else in his career. Ricketts was a solid pro, but not good enough at the time. Muamba used to frustrate me to no end, because his off the ball work was so good, yet when he had to pass the ball to a teammate you couldn't count on him. I'd still call him a hit though.
