  1. When football was invented it was 2 villages knocking shite out of each other up and down a hill. Therefore, t'is Bolton who play the 'traditional' game 'how it should be'
  2. Oh dear, you won't fit in around here with that kind of talk
  3. Not many teams in the world are capable of outplaying Arsenal, please do not get your hopes up that we will
  4. Does your head hurt when you wake up?
  5. That's is very good, as the Orphanage

No he isnt, he's saying in a country that doesn't produce many good footballers, to say he is 'one of the best' doesn't really carry much weight. it's like saying someone is 'one of the best cricket players from holland'. The player might be good, but Holland don't produce 'world-class' cricketers

An the inner-workings of al-Habsi's new demands are?
  9. Didn't Reading turn down ?7.5m from Villa for him?
  10. News flash... no matter who the manager is... every team plays shite in the cup and gets giant-killed every now and again. Sack Ferguson when they got beat by york et all? It was a 'mare, move on. Newcastle weren't in turmoil when we played them - first home game, off the back off a point at OT. Manner of play - it's been shite for over 2 years mate, not just since Megson. Megson hasn't played 'his' team yet, until he does for a few, I reserve my judgement
  11. Beg pardon? The poor fella, if that don't earn him sympathy, nothing will
  12. ditto I for one am not blindly behind his continuing tenure, but I don't think he's done anything to deserve losing his job YET, and therefore will support him until he does.
  13. Let's not let facts get in the way of a good rant now shall we?
  14. A chance for me would be November - to see if we have improved on last year, not the seasons before it - the game has changed too much to be comparing Megson to Allardyce's time.
  15. We don't know, he's never had the current squad fully fit/available. He showed at Reading that if he has options, he'll use them to attack. It would seem unless he has 'the team' he wants to attack, then he doesn't trust the backups enough to play the same system, and reverts to defensive play. Yes, because if he is to include attackers, at least one of those will drop out, 2 when Taylor is fit. Hence his comments that 'squad players aren't taking their chance' - i believe aimed squarely at McCann and O'Brien
  16. Sorry, my mistake.. <ahem><puts on grey marls> Mugson's a c*nt, we're the worst team in the country, bring back Colin Todd I say.
  17. the problem is, that even by some miracle (with any manager) we get 6 points out of Arsenal/Blackburn/Man Utd - the majority of people will still want Megson gone.
  18. Perhaps ours hasn't gelled? Perhaps a fully fit Elmander, Riga and Smolarek could make all the difference? Maybe not, but maybe. Surely if we can see a club with a worse start than ours needs time, we can see that perhaps ours does too?
  19. Spurs seem to be our polar opposite - all creativity and no steel. Would you rather be in our position looking for the creativity or in theirs looking for the steel?? JAL
  20. Stay for the first song, record it on your phone, then leave - you'll beat the traffic home and just listen that same song 10 times, be the same as being at the gig

Aye, broken leg, out for 3 months. Guthrie should be banned until Fagan is fit to play
  22. 1) I don't think we are losing money as a business 2) IF we are losing money - we'd lose a shiteload more outside the Premiership!
  23. got beat at home on Saturday, Bolton got beat on saturday, painters were in. somehow i was persuaded to go to Blackpool yesterday for "somethin to do" - the most depressing place in the planet. Start date for my new career looks like being put back for the 3rd time, the c*nts.
  24. Their manager must be a negative c**t who doesn't know how to handle a creative player then
