  1. Football isn't entertainment - it's sport. So should he do a Sammy Lee and try and change everythin over one summer?? That worked well last time... We would've gone down had he not reverted to what works for us, anyone who doesn't appreciate that should fcuk off and do somethin else with their saturdays. As for being hated, I'm sure WBA fans didn't hate him when he kept them up with no money. He's hated at Leicester cus he came to us, no other reason.
  2. And the club is stuck with an extra striker on the wage bill who won't play once Elmander is fit. We aren't chelsea and can't have 2 teams. I'm sure we'll get another striker and he'll be competing with Elmander once he's fit. Footballer's get injured. Cars break down. Computers crash. I wish people would get a fcuking grip or have a word with themselves in a quiet room. We're acting like we're bottom of the league in March. 2 games in with a better squad than last year and 3 points on the board, a home game at weekend. Wake the fcuk up people
  3. Absolutely, bang on. Also, if we don't get Robinho, I expect his resignation. Tit.
  4. So... you don't bury your head in a beach of "Megson's a c*nt" then? No matter what he does you will never give him a chance, and will be more than happy to say 'told you so' every time Bolton fail (which, and here's the inside scoop, no matter who is in charge - Bolton will never finish top 4 and maybe will win a cup once in any Bolton fans' lifetime!) You, Sir, are King of the ostriches....
  5. Fcuk me it's a London invasion on ere 2-0 Nolan, Elmander Nolan will score a screamer but be bitched at by the fans for misplacing a 88th minute throw in. Elmander will go off after 80 mins to keep him fresh and will be labeled an "?8m sicknote, what a shite signing" and finally, the winner...... "we only won 2-0 who gives a fcuk if we've beat Stoke and WBA, we're still shite and going down - Megson out"
  6. wanna turn your caps lock off too?
  7. Surely creativity means... creating chances? Not how you create - that would be an attractive passing style you're after - but just the fact that creation = creativity? Basically... does it matter how you create them as long as you do? Arsenal fans are fed up now of the football they play - very pretty, very 'creative' but nothing happening at the end of it - the same problem as us, jus the way of getting there that's different.

    1) Helguson won't play on Saturday, Riga being fit is more important, beating WBA is more important than a Carling Cup game. 2) Helguson needs to gain fitness if we're to sell him or keep him 3) My grandad is fitter than Helguson, and he's been dead 5 years

Cus he wasn't fit enough for 90 mins and will be needed for weekend
  10. I'd rather that than "what a waste of money he's shite" and then in Jan we have no money left. for fooks sake can we please cheer up it's still August!
  11. Bare in mind that jus cus we have the money does not mean the quality will want to play infront of 24,000 moaning bastard fans

It's not rocket science - the players weren't arsed because they thought they'd be able to turn up and win comfortably. I highly doubt any manager would tell his side this - but the players are grown men and are professionals - they shouldn't need telling at the level they work/play at. The reason we've become crap in the cup is because it is a long way behind the league in terms of priority. Right or wrong, the league is what matters more than anything, hence the players not focussing properly on a cup tie. Luck wasn't on our side last night, had shittu's effort gone in off the post - we'd've won and all would be well this morning. Such is sport, such is life
  13. Then your Anti-Megson glasses are in overdrive
  14. Does it create chances? Yes. It's not pretty but it is effective - and we're in a results business. Megson is building a team but it will take more than one window to bring the players in that he wants - players like Muamba, Elmander, Cahill, etc. Against Stoke it wasn't all "hoof into the box" and we played some good football. Chelsea played good football against Pompy (at home) but away at Wigan from they made sure they won the game, nothing more. That's just how football is now, ManUre were exac the same at Pompy on Monday. Even Arsenal fans are fed up now. West Brom played lovely passing football in the Champ... not doing them much good so far in the Prem is it?
  15. Players should be taking the flak. Too many big-time charlie's not arsed about playing a League 1 side on a Tuesday night. Yes, the manager's job is to motivate BUT ultimately, only a player can want something.
  16. Define creativity? If you mean Brazilian-esque dribbling, then you're correct. Let's not forget we created alot of chances against Stoke, and more than enough chances to beat Newcastle. We do create chances - it's taking them that's the problem

Are you on glue? Sometimes it's not your night. The players should've played better, but when you concede a pen, get a man sent off, hit the post and have a last min goal disallowed - take it as providence.
  18. We don't know that club don't wanna keep him - his agent's a knob and has bad history with the club, the club has to think business. If he isn't going to sign (and there's been no hint that he wants to) then its either get a few hundred grand now or nothin next summer. On a side note, he can't wait for 1st team behind a 33/34 year old keeper in Jussi..... but he'll go and compete with a 27 year old who's only just signed for Blackburn in Robinson???? Good move Ali
  19. Went out in Wigin on Sunday neet.... King St makes Bradshawgate look like Covent Garden. What a shithole
  20. If it's ?750k towards a striker/winger then that'll do me
  21. ?60k a week apparently - the Blunderland wage bill must be astronomical. If he's worth 8m, what's Cahill worth?
