Saw oasis and blur in the same week in Manchester at the height of the rivalry, about 95ish. I was all for oasis but they were shit live and blur were class. I didnt admit it to anyone at the time though. Loved cornershop but saw them live and it was the worst gig I've been too.

Yep still there. Must admit I've not been, would have thought a few go there now you mention it. Probably sort of tucked away place where it'd kick off. To be honest the set up at Salford is annoyingly good. They've got couple of local takeaways in and local brewery 7 brothers doing beer as well as the usual stuff so I'd guess most are happy just to go there. Be a shame if Leeds kick off as quite a few families go to salford and the locals were well pissed off when a club suddenly appeared where theyd been only been getting 100 before. Not much time for them myself but I've got a few mates who supported them before the takeover so happy for them.

Leeds coaches will empty in prestwich. Judging by Riley's on a matchday there's loads of United fans round here who'll take the hump with them. Said it before but it's a shame Neville turned Salford into a United tribute band. They'll be no Salford fans to fight Leeds off. Darlington, stockport and a few others have kicked off at Salford and found no one to fight. Although theres a couple at Salford who seem to think they're Billy big bollocks. Am guessing united will jump leeds in the side streets. Local jews will be over the moon with that.

I don't think Baker is a racist. It was stupid to post it but to suggest he genuinely put it down as a racist statement seems a bit out there. It was stupid though. A few go down to watch prestwich heys saying they don't enjoy it anymore. I walked down to a pre season game last year and noticed a lot of united gear around. My mate was furious when they changed the kit. Said they'd lost their identity. Think he was right to be honest, like someone else just said you alienate half your potential customers.

If they're not insured I don't blame them for not playing. They've hardly been treated great this year and it's not worth risking your livelihood. Especially if they've got wife and kids. Im more pissed off with the likes of Andrews or Mears who stole a living.

Prestwich is getting a few Salford shirts about now, my mates long term Salford fan so pleased for him, some of the stories he's told me about the new Salford fans who you see giving it the bigun on Twitter are bizarre.

My mate lives in Hong Kong. They advertise the apartments over there as an investment for your pension years. Seems a bit fucked up when there's so many homeless families in Manc but it's foreign investment at least

Black Sunday.. I was young and I'd convinced myself.. gutted. Aston villa fa cup semi final. My grandad had been to the first final at Wembley, was convinced I was going to the last Boro cup final, bastards I still can't believe it. I spend a lot of time up there and they mention it all the time, I've heard it in a few wedding speaches.. Sporting Lisbon.. even after the team was announced I thought we'd pull it off somehow. Stoke in the semi, great weekend ruined.
