Yeah agreed, I wouldn't be having the Russian one, I'd be happy to have a vaccine if there was some peer reviewed evidence on it but that's going to take even more time. They reckon they're a few years ahead then normal due to previous research on similar viruses but we're going to need some human Guinea pigs

https://www.dw.com/en/coronavirus-vaccine-could-be-available-by-the-autumn-rki/a-54542513 Gerrman's think chance of vaccine by autumn, you might get to the euros yet

I wonder if Johnson will be very proud of this as well

Yep agreed on la scala. I'm only bitter against Charlie because he chased my mates and me for kicking a ball against the chippy. I never heard the one about his wife but the spitting in the chips one was repeated as fact by everyone I knew at school. I can remember mates trying to explain it was fine to do it and it was a great way to check if the oil was hot enough. Off topic but been back a few times in last couple of years and been surprised what a good night out westhoughton is becoming.

Surely it's over now? Dale must have the estate agents round gigg lane this afternoon

Westhoughton wise I've never understood casa nostras success, it's a pretty average Italian but it's like mecca to cow heads always packed, my parents still live in westhoughton and they love it.. Charlies is a lot better then it was, certainly better then when Charlie was there spitting in the chip fat. Live in Teesside now, I dont think you appreciate how much is on your doorstep living in the area until you leave, two major cities, good train and motorway links, airport.. not lived in Bolton since I was 18, love visiting and proud of coming from there, people slagging it off is pretty lazy, good and bad bits like anywhere, never should have got rid of market hall though

RIP was a face at away games, always said hello, sad news

These T cell studies around having a response due to people having previous viruses is encouraging, seems to be a few different studies coming up with similar results. Must be encouraging for a vaccine working as well. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.livescience.com/amp/common-cold-coronaviruses-t-cells-covid-19-immunity.html

Don't know if its been mentioned but reading the new york times article on schools reopening in Israel is a great way to ruin your day. Pretty concerned about September now.

45 quid new home shirt, bit of a pisstake having home bargains on the front at that price

Have bank top still got a bar under north lower or did it go under Anderson?
-
Good idea, years ago I used to whip a coffee cup off the counter under the east stand lower and fill it with what was left of my beer to drink in my seat, told mate I sat next to forgetting he was an idiot, next thing hes doing it and has told anyone he passes under the stand, cups were moved off the counter couple of games later.. hope they punish the idiot who misbehaved rather then stop it and punish everyone who's behaving when its introduced.

I remember they sponsored accrington Stanley as well, weird what you remember.. in other news this thread has got to be up there on wanderersways list of fucked up stuff.. I hope you were on the wind up Andy Gee

Was he a united fan or a bloke with glasses? Did my work experience 25 plus years ago, manager was a prick but I remember the other staff were alright.

Talking to nurse in charge of immunisations in Durham and Teesside last week and she was very confident they would be giving the vaccine in the next 6-9 months, I have no idea where shes got info from but I'd presume shes privy to more then most, I've been clinging on to that the last week or so

I thought a couple of mobs had made the mistake of going into town this season?
-
Used to like Mill House when the ground opened I'm not a massive fan of anywhere near the ground now although I've not been in Scotts for couple of years, hotel is alright but doesn't feel like your having a beer after the match would prefer traditional pub, theres not that great options for us near the ground nevermind away fans, it's a cracking ground though.
-
Took a few boro fans to barnstormers last few times we've played them at home and they've raved about it, said it changed it from a crap away ground to visit to a good one. Does the beehive still do away fans only? I've heard mates from home say coaches have pulled up on market street westhoughton before matches a few times.

Nothing to offer unfortunately but just to say hope you get sorted Crawley and its class how supportive people are on here, hope you avoid the redundancies Radcliffe.
-
Fair point he would have been media coached if it happened now and just come out with a generic answer

Fair play top answer thanks, I've always fancied partick thistle, love Glasgow but cant be doing with all the crap around the football, looks a good old ground too. Saw Queens Park are building a new ground as well, been to hampden on the tour but that's it unfortunately. Shame they've built crap nee grounds, curse of modern football
-
Have you done many grounds Scotland wise anything worth a visit? I've always fancied Brechin City with the hedge, I cant see there being a reason for me to be up there though unfortunately
-
That night of watch this space just took the shine off it, been a great win then he comes out with that, used to hate him for it, now I'm just not arsed about him, shame as he was class in the rioch years.

Nope never said that, not sure why you would?

Nope are take your point I think theres a few on here who look at it more broadly yourself, sweep and Kent jump to mind., it was more that I'd put a smart arse reply to mounts smart arse reply and you think what am I doing? Theres a global pandemic and world recession on the horizon and I'm arguing with a bloke I've met fleetingly and thought was a decent bloke, who I know wont change his mind so why am I trying to wind up someone I think is alright, lifes hard enough
