  1. I presume with that lineup, we'll be hoping to snatch a point and it's all about our big game against Wigan on Saturday.
  2. Amos must be popular, he's got 191K followers on Twitter.
  3. I don't think you'll be far off with those figures and Yes! I would have Amos over the other two, he's a real class keeper. (so far)
  4. Poor game, but we won. Amos, we must sign up in the summer, he's a class keeper, he didn't have lots to do, but when called upon, he was calm and assured, as usual. Ream had a very good game too and Paddy McCarthy is a solid central defender, a no nonsense type, that keeps it simple, Matt Mills take note! I thought subbing Danns was the correct decision, I didn't rate Charlie boy Coke. The young lad Walker showed some nice touches, but he was naive at times, which is expected. Eidur showed some nice touches and ALF was pure class, another player we need to sign in the summer, providing our finances allow. A much needed result and a point at Ipswich would be great, but the Wigan game next week, is looking rather tasty! NLSWA.
  5. I reckon we'll sign Ben Amos on a free and he'll be our number 1. Bogdan will probably go to a club in Germany and Lonergan will be mainly used as backup, providing he signs a new deal.
  6. IMO, we need 9 points from our last 10 games to stay up. 5 of the remaining games are at home and I expect us to beat Millwall on Saturday.
  7. Enzo Gambaro was Italian and he played just one game for us.

Whatever happened to the magic sponge? I don't remember too many of our players suffering these kind of injuries back in the 70's and 80's.

  10. I have to agree about possibly signing up Alf & Bannon in the summer, if our tight finances stretch that far. I thought Bannon was a little sloppy with his passing in the first half, but it wasn't just him, but he was superb in the second half. Le Fondre is a classy player though and maybe if he has a decent target man alongside him, he can get even better.
  11. The referee was shocking! Reading were dirty cheating twats! I hate conceding a last minute equaliser, especially when we deserved the win. I changed my usual seat today and I had a a great view from the first row in the WSU, Lennon gave that 4th official pretty much grief all game, just hope he doesn't get a ban. I'm not too sure what happened with Reading's equaliser ? At first I thought Danns could have done better and booted the ball away just before they scored, but I'll have to watch it again. Our injuries didn't look good tbh, Wheater's looked minor, but McNaughton's looked bad, he was down for quite some time. Clough was holding his wrist/arm ? That didn't look too good either. I'll be glad when this season is over tbh.
  12. I've decided to take advantage of the free upgrade for tonight's game. We're sitting in the WSU for a change at no extra cost, tickets waiting for us at the ticket office.
  13. I quite like Bannon, as somebody has already mentioned, he's much better on the ball than Spearing. It's a pity Bannon is another midget at around 5"6.
  14. Just out of interest, who do you guys tend to book with for your holidays? The last couple of years I have booked mine with lowcostholidays, I've found them pretty good on both flights and accommodation costs.
  15. I did the snorkelling too, I used my underwater camera, I'd recommend the snorkelling to anybody going to Egypt.
  16. Jesus! That looked well painful for the material girl.
  17. We went to Egypt last summer for just a week and we had a brilliant time. We went to Hurghada, there were hardly any Brits in the hotel, it was mainly Egyptian tourists, who were vile, tons of Russians and quite a few Germans. We stayed at the Cleopatra Luxury resort in Makadi Bay, it wasn't cheap for Egypt, £700 each for the week, but the hotel, food, location etc was superb!
  18. The Green party have basically implied that, you can support a terrorist organisation such as Isis and it won't be a criminal offence. I wonder if we could start seeing black Isis flags outside peoples houses in the future? http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/jan/25/terrorist-organisation-membership-no-crime-say-greens
  19. Janko can play right back, but right wing is his best position.
  20. Lennon mentioned after the Forest debacle, that he doesn't have a quick right back available and that's why Ream played at right back last Saturday. Lennon obviously thinks McNaughton is a slug!
  21. I'd imagine it would probably make more sense for your mate to hire you as a sub-contractor and not an employee, as your mate would have to pay employers national insurance contributions which can be costly for a small and new business, your mate would also have to pay you holiday & sick pay. The obvious choice, would be for you to register as self employed, you have got 3 months to register with HMRC, otherwise you'll get a £100 fine. Your boss wouldn't have to pay you sick pay or holidays etc, which would help his cash flow. Basically, say you complete a job on behalf of your mate, you invoice your mate say £200 plus vat (registering for vat is imperative for a courier, as you can claim back the vat on those hefty fuel bills and also if you decide to hire a van or purchase a van outright. Your mate pays you £240 which includes £40 vat and your mate reclaims the £40 back when he has his quarterly vat return completed.
