  1. It had Sky, Jaeger and a smoking area - what more do you want?
  2. Dua Lipa is a bit of a fitty. Halsey looked pretty rowdy as well. Was there anything else worth watching?
  3. Well I suppose all the TVs that were acquired in 2011 need upgrading
  4. I don't know about locking ALL of them up, but stopping known extremists working on the fucking underground might be a good start
  5. 0-6 League cup, shambles all round walking in after 25 mins to see their third go in and a drive back up the M1-M6 with a missing passenger window and radio. The league game in the last relegation season was possibly the most depressing away game ever. There was literally next to no-one in the away end apart from a few koreans and we took a hiding after a ridiculous red card in the first half. 40+ quid well spent
  6. Thought Clayton looked a lot sharper on Tuesday in fairness and battled away. Nice and sunny in Kings cross.
  7. Good fun. Nice venue that Boxxed in Brum, definitely worth a visit. Andy Moor smashed it. Orjan Nilsen & JOC quality. Can't remember Simon Patterson. Last couple of hours weren't up to a great deal (Standerwick & Dark Fusion) so wandered into the second room where John Askew was finishing up a 10hr set which was messy to say the least. 6am finish Standard Trance crowd. Hardly anyone under 25, plenty of veterans. Whiter than an NF meeting. Mostly insane. All kinds of shenanigans going on the 'Rave Van' out the back.
  8. Seen us win away 4 times in 3 weeks...doesn't get much better than that? Even game last night. It's all going our way at the moment, but you can't deny the players aren't earning it with the graft and battle they are putting in. Think if Pratley had played another 5-10 games we would be champions by now. Roll on Saturday!
  9. annoying as it's cracking today down here
  10. Well, yeah that's what I don't really get about it...isn't it just a slightly 'trancier' version of the late 00s hard house tidy/polysexual etc that seemed to pretty much die off? I'll probably end up going, just not sure i can handle 3hours+ of it these days, especially in Ministry - the sound levels are pretty brutal in there.
  11. I was hoping you were going to say it was shit so I had an excuse not to go Trancecoda in Brum tonight for me.
  12. What was Ben Nicky like in the end Gonz? Getting mithered to go along to MoS in May for his night... Haye-Bellew messed up Dreamstate for me the other week, didn't get in until 12.30, combined with a 20 min cloackroom queue the rest of the crowd were on a different planet to me by the time i got in. Paul van Dyk was quality though.
  13. http://www.boxingnewsonline.net/revealed-the-shocking-truth-behind-the-collapse-of-amir-khan/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-4340284/Amir-Khan-decided-fighter-hurt.html He really is daft. I hope he still has most of his millions stashed safely away from these people.
  14. Made it the 25 rows down to the front after Vela's goal, only to have my route onto the track/pitch blocked off by some pensioner/K&F types. And now I can't walk, might have to be wheeled into the away end on Sat That fucking shot from their left back, we were right behind it...what a save. Did they show on telly how far out it was? Fun day out. Looks like it's all falling into place for us at just the right time.
  15. way too much fun for a tuesday night not sure i've attended an easier win
  16. Have we blundered booking on the 17.47 back or should we be good to make it?
  17. when did it become Scotts...2006ish? Not a bad run. Remember Harvester being impossible to get served at while it was being redone that time, not to mention the lingering sick smell at a certain point of the bar. was Mill House the one with big screens and you could get pitchers in without waiting too long or spending that much..?
  18. Good heavyweight brawl from the weekend... http://youtu.be/VCW-hnloi4M
  19. what are you blathering on about
  20. Yeah I don't think there's much disagreement that the tactics weren't up to much for Quigg's blemishes against Frampton & Salinas and a change might be in order. Hopefully it works out for him, I would pick Selby, Frampton and LSC to beat him still though - would like to see the fights made. Wonder if there is a chance he gets Selby on the Wembley undercard.
  21. Seen quite a few papers reporting Khan - Pacquio was close to being a done deal and it could even happen at the Macron in May. I don't see it happening though and definitely not in Bolton, would like to be proved wrong though. Always thought it would be a decent venue as far as football stadiums go for boxing. Good size and design, would be some night with 30k+ in.
  22. We walked underneath it at around 3am after that Pompey game years ago if that helps
  23. Yeah, highly recommended. Great venue, nice city. Plenty of English/Irish out there. Went last year and reckon I'm in again for next year. Boozing from 5am at Stansted wasn't a good idea at all though. Way too pissed by the early evening, left my phone at the hotel (not a good idea in a venue that big) and the first few hours are a bit of a blur. Dan Stone was epic 4-5am then Armin played a vinyl/classics last hour which was quality (didn't get that last year after PvD fell off the stage). Wandered into a free afterparty for an hour or so - some really bad states on show in there. Back to the hotel for breakfast at 8am! I did see about 10-15 mins of Ben Nicky, not really for me but seemed to be going down pretty well in the 2nd room. I'm at Dreamstate in Brixton that night, i'm not sure 2 weeks will be long enough to have recovered from this...
