  1. Cheers fella's, just had an email from them asking what I want them to do about it. Daft question - told them I want the spec that I ordered. Financial Ombudsman said to contact the finance company if the leasing company didn't act so i'll be on to them tomorrow if it's not resolved and following Smiffs advice with a letter.
  2. Cheers Salford & Swanny. Spoke to the Financial Ombudsman on Friday, sounded like i'd interrupted their nap time.
  3. Took delivery of a new A Class two weeks ago through a leasing company, everything's perfect and as ordered except for lack of apple CarPlay. This was listed as a standard feature in the documentation that I've got from the company. I've been to Mercedes and they've confirmed CarPlay is not on the car and it cannot be retrofit. It might be a relatively minor thing but it leaves me with a useless display in the car as I didn't go for the navigation pack etc as it pulls all your iPhone apps through and acts as an iPad. Plus I've got a car that has been somewhat mis-sold. The leasing companies response so far is 'well you signed for it'. Can anybody advise what options I have here? Cheers.
  4. A girl I went to school with is always banging out about one thing or another, enraged and offended by everything and everyone. Anyway she posted this about her gender on FB the other week. I haven't a fucking clue what she's on about. If anybody can decipher this..
  5. Time for a new car and first time in the lease market. Anybody have experience of leasing from www.leasingoptions.co.uk - they seem to have good reviews online. Just over £10k for a A Class 180d AMG, 10k miles a year on a 3 year deal. List price is £25k. Sound reasonable?
  6. Got an Openbox V8s but i've been looking at Zgemma for the dual tuner, SkyTV skin etc. Struggling to see what the difference is between the H2/2S/H.2S/H.2H boxes though - the specs on their website seem to be very similar and I can't work out what's better about the £90 box compared to the £75/£65 boxes. Any advice appreciated.

  8. Bought an OBD2 adapter from Amazon for a fiver and downloaded the Torque app on my phone, works perfectly.
  9. Pleased with it, much better than I was expecting it to be. It's about time we sorted out The Nat Lofthouse Stand sign out in the ground too, it looks like the Gordons Honda Stand.
  10. Can I have some free money please?
  11. Most used gear is like new, people really look after their stuff. All of my lenses were pre owned. Shops like Wildings in Chorley sell used, so if you don't fancy buying off ebay give them a go. Plus you'll be able to try them in the shop and get some advice.
  12. The D3200 is a decent camera (all Nikon DSLRs are) but for the money I'd buy a second hand D7000 from ebay - it's easier to use and has an inbuilt focus motor which means you can use older (and cheaper) lenses on it. Because the D3200 doesn't have the motor you'll need to but newer lenses which have a motor in but they're more expensive. I have a D5100 and a D7000, they're both fantastic and produce quality images. Lenses are more important than the camera body though, and they vary in price from £100 up to a couple of thousand. It depends on what type of photography/videoing as to the type of lens you need. ie, wide angle (10-20mm) for landscapes, 85-100mm ish for portraits, 200mm plus for wildlife etc.
  13. That's the extent of my German.
  14. Have a look at Tesco and Argos outlets on eBay, they sell 'refurbished' Samsung, Motorola tablets for around £200. Bought a refurbished Xoom myself a couple of months back, it was brand new. They tend to be store returns rather than broken and then refurbished, a years warranty with them too. Edit - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAMSUNG-GALAXY-TAB-2-16GB-WIFI-10-1-INCH-WHITE-/350800054080?pt=UK_iPad_Tablets_eReaders&hash=item51ad500740
  15. Knew the face but couldn't place him, then the stage behind gave it away. He's looking bloody old there.
  16. Let's. Play. Darts! Martin Fitzmaurice?
  17. Correct, maximum £20. Think it might only be available on mobile too, can't find it on their full site.
  18. Shit day. Anyway, Boylesports are offering evens on Sprinter Sacre for tomorrow, 1/3 elsewhere.
  19. Very happy indeed Traf. Cheers. Managed to get them on during a seminar this afternoon, god bless free WiFi.
  20. Watched Schindler's List for the first time in years the other night, top top film. Went to see his factory in Krakow last summer too.
  21. SkyBet tweeted the bet slip, worked out at just over 1000/1. 3 correct scores, and Blackburn/Brighton both teams to score. 15/2, 6/1, 9/1, 8/11.
  22. The nurse should never have put the call through. I very much doubt that the two Aussies would have expected to get through to Middletons nurse. Sad that she's killed herself, but I'm not for blaming the prank callers.
  23. Bottle of Simple Linctus. Brilliant stuff.
  24. Went a few weeks before the Euro's started this year, brilliant place. There's a company called Escape to Poland that we booked our Auschwitz tour with, they pick you up in brand new Merc van/sort your guides/radios etc out. Booked our travel back to the airport with them too that worked out cheaper than the bus. Learn a couple of Polish phrases like hello, please, thank you etc, they really appreciate it. Looking to go back over before Christmas.
