Sordell needs the ball pushed in front of him running in on goal, he doesn't do long ball or running channels....all I say is play to his strengths then I'll comment

Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2

Being told by the late Mr Higson, that is not how a bolton fan should act at an away match...."if you follow through with your elbow a bit higher, if you miss with the fist, the elbow will catch the bugger"

hahaha....I was no where near when that was going on

You're not wrong there...funnier moments such as trying to cross the M6 to have a chat with some Bristol Rovers lads, and an older guy pointing out there is a bridge we should probably try crossing instead of dodging the traffic

Or you could come along we can swap stories of historical wanderers away matches

Any chance of doing a wanderers ways coach to away matches next season?- Saturday's Pre Match Song
Was also thinking Sanctuary is what the Blackpool lot will be screaming if they try owt.....but this would get the stadium rocking- Saturday's Pre Match Song
- Twenty Years Ago Tonight Hull 1 Bolton 2
Euphoria that night....still have no idea who the bloke at the side of me was, holding me in a vice like grip and lifting me off my feet....cheers fella- Twenty Years Ago Tonight Hull 1 Bolton 2
In my opinion, this was the last time we properly took over an away ground. Behind the goal that terrace was heaving, to the right were the seats where more Bolton were, and about half of the terrace to our left was Bolton....plus that lad running on the pitch and scoring a goal at the opposite end terrace was hilarious...good night- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
Good point, had Sunday in my mind for some reason- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
hahaha, meet half way would be fairer, somewhere like Preston, would be like Piuccadily when us, the massives and dmbs were there at the same time....now that was a day to remember- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
Well, bring on Sunday, they won't turn up on mass, any that do I am sure a heartiest welcome will be given.- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
Forgot that, everyone thought they were Bolton being turfed out of the home end, from my recollection (and at 42 I realise the memory aint what it was), don't remember anything to suggest they were Blackpool...it that had been our lot out that day, they'd have been climbing over that wall and steaming into them- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
Not surprised on the size, almost everyone went the same way towards Blackpool...some angry young men in there from what I remember....funnily enough bumped into some of them at Rotherham the following match (which again was interesting), and got my own "escort" to the pub...some top lads there during the 1980's- Todays Games
sure his brief will have it in a writ that he wasn't there and never managed the club.....it was his dog- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
No idea how they reckon that, they took a right good pasting and were soon out of there. After the match it was going around that shitty terrace to mob up after, not surprised that it was a good mob...my brother wouldn't let me follow unfortunately, but by 16 I was able to go to matches with me mates...and went to Bristol Rovers away in 86, where I met some top lads in an interesting day out- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
Dunno, we just followed a coach load of lads boozing and figured it was our lot, which was a good guess. I was only 14 but remember asking me brother why they wouldn't stand, he just laughed, shrugged his shoulders and said, would you with that lot fronting you- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
I was in a car following you lot that day, your account seems correct- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
Couldn't give a shit about these moaning cunts, RIP this, talking liberties that, these lot and that includes the muckers, have never been able to handle us. If they come here with that attitude, they get what they deserve, me...and going to watch a match and hope we can do a footballing number on these pricks- Wanderers 2 Blackpool 2
I reckon the Forest Leicester one myself- Cardiff 1 Wanderers 1
I don't think Vela has done too bad, McAteer, Reidy etc all took a number of consecutive games before they started to look like they belonged. He is a young kid and as as a Wanderers fan, I hope we see him and more like him in the future, so I for one think he deserves his chance - Positives
