With our lack of funds, some of the out of work managers quoted by some wouldn't come here, as we can't offer them sufficient transfer funds and I'm not sure we can afford them anyway. Ignoring the youngsters, he has tried everyone in the first team that is available, he has tried different formations etc...okay sometime sit doesn't work, but I see he is at least trying to do something. In all honesty Jules, I look at this and see he is trying, that fact that most of these players were first team regulars in the prem, and can't seem to get any form in the Championship, says more about their attitude than his lack of nouse. In a poor season, it helps my sanity to look for the positives, than focus on our obvious frailties

Just want to point out that in our fall from grace from 1979 to 1987 we had 6 managers in 7 years and in a period of semi stability culminating in allardyce we had 5 managers in 19 years...what I am trying to say is this, we keep changing managers quickly, we could slip down the leagues (we currently have had 4 managers in five years), and those of us who saw and followed us through the bad years, I for one would rather have at least another year in this league and give the guy time, than watch us go through the fall again...however you want to cut it, clubs that change managers in quick succession fail... I don't know if DF is the right man yet, but he does try and and have at least plan A, B, C and D, it doesn't always come off but he tries to adapt. So I am on the side of another year in charge, get rid of Knight, Mears, Eagles, CYL, Wheater, Sordell, Andrews and any other player whose contract is either up at the end of the season (yes this includes Holden if he cannot get fit), or we can get rid of on a free

Ahhh, thanks for confirming my ever diminishing memory though. I also seem to remember going to Leyton Orient one year and the match being called off as we got to their ground, so quite a few of us went to watch another match in London, can't remember who it was though

IF this is true, can one of the ITK people tell the players to go feck themselves if they are planning this. Irregardless of whether they are happy or not, they are paid to do a job when match day comes around. Do they not have any pride in themselves? Would they like to see the club and the fans suffer because they are unhappy? My opinion is we'd be well rid of them and start again, because apart from Tim Ream and Hall (yes I know), how many of them performed pre-season and then 9 matches in?
