  9. Where is that coming from? Its fucking annoying
  10. Loved my clubbing stevieb 😁
  11. Sankeys was ace, especially in the mid 90’s. Sorry to bang on about sound systems but there’s was one called a phazon system (might have spelled that wrong) possibly the loudest system I’ve ever heard. I remember being on the centre of the dance floor and the DJ mixed 7 nation army into blue Monday, the bass was too much! I ended up at the bar catching my breath!
  12. For the electric chair and scruff nights they used to bring in a funktion one sound system. It absolutely pissed all over the house system, you could feel every beat and it wasn’t hard on your ears. Am getting tingles just thinking about it 😂
  13. Absolutely loved the music box! Electric chair and scruff were both my monthly nights out for many years. Was gutted when they closed it and turned the place into a Tesco. I got on well with the bouncers, the guy with the tattoos on his face is called Twinny. Proper character and not someone you’d want to get on the wrong side of. He used to confiscate ‘stuff’ off people and give it to us regulars. Top bloke if you knew him and he always let us straight in if the cue was big outside.
  14. Shambles
  15. I went to Lancaster and it was a brilliant university. It’s a collegiate campus set up which would suit someone who’s not ‘street wise’ as such. I was there 20 years ago and it’s since had loads of renovations and improvements so it’d definitely be worth a visit.
  16. Whoever is singing the Bolton get battered song in east lower north end, please get in the fucking sea. Ta.
  17. An utterly fantastic day. 13k fans on and a genuine feeling of positivity about our club, it’s history and it’s forward journey. So glad my kids (8 and 11) have fully bought into following the wanderers, they loved it today. Very proud fan
  18. Can you send me the link too please? Tried everything here!
  19. Taking a pragmatic view, they just look calm and organised. We seemed all over the place today with too much side to side passing and no real creativity going forward. Just wish we hadn’t made our worst home game this season this one.
  20. This thread should be an interesting read tomorrow!
  21. This is fucking awful.
  22. Fantastic thread this, keep it up. It’s nice to see a lot of balanced views amongst the obvious partisan negative stuff. It’s also refreshing to see other teams noticing our renewed positivity and strength
  23. Any links here too please. Am down south so can’t tune in to local radio. thanks
  24. Just tried to post two pictures from todays news but couldn't do it. (is there a guide of how to do it somewhere?) Gist of the story is Government considering splitting London up so only some places go into Tier 3 but won't consider it elsewhere. Saw on the Daily mail website as I was browsing all the news outlets with my morning brew. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9047079/Tier-3-inflict-catastrophic-damage-London-Tory-MPs-warn.html https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9048037/Hopes-rural-areas-decoupled-neighbouring-Covid-hotspots-dashed-Matt-Hancock.html Not a fan of the Daily mail in general but they do seem to get government leaks before other news outlets.....
  25. I can see primark moving from crompton place (which is being largely redeveloped) and moving into the whole of Debenhams. It'd then be a similar size to the one in Manchester City centre 😳
