Bet that big stiff idiot body builder scores past us & sky sports tug themselves silly over it.

Very much rate Dempsey, one of them players who always does well against us whilst seeming to stand out in this league for a good few seasons now. Definitely need that kind of sort especially him being a captain too & will be coming into his peak years. He always gets linked to good moves with a lot of teams sniffing about but hopefully we can pull it off!

"Defensive midfielder would not be my description of Morley. He only played deep because of his passing range. His defensive awareness has never been a strength." So he sounds similar to Sheehan. His possession stats set him apart, also looks like he has a hell of a delivery on him too which we are missing dearly. Morley or Hartigan would be a good investment for the club as they've racked up 100 EFL games each so have very good experience despite only being 21. If one of them come off, it's hard to see why we would loan another 20 year old midfielder with 0 EFL experience in Campbell where we would be developing Aberdeen's product which is a mid table SPL team? You'd hope we're looking to add a bit of experience & leadership to the XI to help guide the younger ones which we are seriously lacking at this point in time

Hindsights a wonderful thing in that we could have had either or both of Stockton & Tshiminga on frees this summer just gone. They're in very high demand now & are going to demand hefty fees which I can't see happening at all.

Would Evatt be happy with Del, Kacha & Baka filling in up there? It would be underwhelming obviously they can all play up top but they're just like stop gaps when they are utilised centrally. They're never going to become the vocal point as Del isn't good enough, if Baka does a sprint that's him out for 8 weeks & Kachunga is just happy to be up there making a nuisance of himself without much end product. Dion should be great for us but could be missing for a month so you'd hope we can get another out & out striker in.

Tom Eaves was never going to be ready to play at the level we were at when we had him especially with his hit & miss loans but he really came to life in this league whilst at Gillingham bagging 17 & 21 in back to back seasons earning him a pretty good move to Hull that being said he's hardly been prolific there. He has got something about him though if you can get it out of him. Big old fashioned #9 with some decent ability with the ball at his feet

MJ is a bit of both he gets stuck in & he can play too but he does have a lot of work to get through on his own he's the entire glue. Lee & Sheehan as good as they don't like the midfield battles, Thomason does & gets stuck in but still learning. An experienced shithouse to pair with MJ in a double pivot would be a good option, bringing a 10 in is paramount in my eyes though... can't be having Del filling in their to touch the ball 7 times in 90

Crawford he's a busy player trying to make things happen but for the most part it just consists of him blasting them 30 yards over the bar & overhitting diagonal's. He was a tryer unlike some of the past but there's a lot of very good quality out there to bring in & be interesting to see who we have in mind of replacing Sarce/Crawford. Crowley would be one worth bringing in if the terms are right, also the City youngster McAtee who's got 11 in 12 for the reserves from the 10 role if we could do a loan

Todays Games
He seemed like a handful L2 striker last season nothing worth taking a gamble on, Mullin/Jamile Matt were the ones I'd have took for L1 then being linked to Stockton over the summer on a free it seemed massively underwhelming but fuck me what a season he's having fair play to him. Hard to say wether he's a system player until somebody takes a gamble on him, it wouldn't surprise me if Wigan took the punt to replace Wyke after his health scare. Donny though talk about capitulation, no chance of staying up them.

Rotherham a
Top effort considering all things & the fans were class. Seeing we struggled so much against Quigley it's no surprise to see Smith feast on our weaknesses. Rotherham are a good shithouse effective unit they know thier strengths two fast as fuck wingers who relentlessly put crosses in for thier big cunts up top. Not a good recipe for us considering how bad we are at letting crosses come in. Del a "striker" by trade filling in as a box to box with Johnston a centre back both in midfield I was expecting a proper hiding but we did well to frustrate whilst offering a threat on the counter. See what magic Evatt can work in the window now aswell as the deadwood he can shift

23 year old American Marlon Fossey who rocks a mighty impressive afro seems to be coming in as competition for Gethin Jones on loan. He currently has 5 assists from 11 U21 games for Fulham... was a winger initially but converted to a full back so can play both if needed. Think most of wanted Kioso back so this seems to be of the same nature & we have been short there relying on Brock & Izzy.

https://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/league-of-ireland/st-pats-lining-up-ambitious-swoop-for-bolton-striker-eoin-doyle-41193055.html Can't fault his work rate or attitude but be best for everybody. He did his job of getting the goals to get us out of L2 now it's time to all look ahead to the future and the present to accel. He'd be alright off the bench if he saved his energy he uses up in 90 mins and put it into a 20 minute cameo against tired legs but doubt he'd want to be a bench player plus we need to free up wages for new players as he is a high earner

Dapo will definitely benefit off of a #10 & a striker to take some weight off his back seeing as hes been carrying the entire attack all season. He needs players of the same wavelength to enthuse him & hopefully our business in the coming weeks does that so we can see more than a one man team trying to do everything on his own

Maybe its 150k up front 150k with games/goals, surely we haggled a bit & didn't accept the first number thrown about. He's the type of player who could be worth a few mill like Dapo if he has a good run though. Fast, dynamic, high work rate, interchangeable across the front line & added goals to his game he definitely fits the bill add to that his high dribbling stats for carrying the ball he's much more than just a poacher. We probably could have waited to the summer to get him on a free but he probably would have better offers on the table at that point & thats if nobody else came in for him this month if we hadn't bit on the bait first. Evatt probably sees him as a perfect fit & doesn't want to risk missing out on him. Lots of clubs were meant to be in for him from the CH but it seems Stoke were the ones with serious interest. Surely this is the end of Del Boy now though as we will have Dapo, Dion, Kacha, Baka, Doyler, Izzy & Xav if he extends fighting for 3 spots. Hopefully this is a kick in the arse for Doyler too who despite his selfless work rate his final product is seriously hindering the team

Loan Watch 2021/22
Darcy has talent & is classy on the ball but doesn't look the type to get goals & assists like Dennis. Politic has the edge about him & is greedy enough to take shots on which will get him numbers unlike Ronan who may be better suited to converting as a deeper playmaker linking the play up like Lee does as long as he's coached right. Politic seems to have pissed Evatt off regarding rejecting a contract but nobodies in the wrong as it's easy to see both sides... Bolton don't want to offer him what he thinks he warrants because of the risk of him snapping his knee again ala Holden, Mavies, CYL but in Dennis's case it's a business he needs to earn as much as he can in case injuries do occur so that he's financially secure if anything bad does happen with his career hence him thinking if he smashes it at Vale it will earn him more money in the summer somewhere. Hopefully both parties come to an agreement & we see him in the squad next season maybe even January but it doesn't look likely which is unfortunate because he's no doubt exciting to watch.

Transfer Gossip
When we played them in the 1-0 away last season at the final whistle Evatt could be seen having a good chat with him on the iFollow cameras with Stockton nodding in agreement could have been a we'll come & get you if you don't go up. Heavily linked with him in the summer for what ever reason he signed a new contract at the shrimps & we ended up getting Baka who could be really good in this division but he's a proper sick note it seems like. Personally weren't arsed in the summer about not getting him as he helped them go up but didn't have the best goal returns in L2 last season but this season he's top scorer in the entire league & scoring bangers for fun. He'd get in most teams in this league on current form wether he can be consistent is another story, Evatt obviously is a big fan of his & Doyler at 33 would be better suited as a super sub coming on the last 30 against tired legs when they're getting sloppier & stretched. A no 10 will do very nicely aswell, seeing as IE says Sarce was going to be upgraded on anyway he should have somebody lined up but we seriously missed a boat on that Twine on a free he would have been perfect but atleast we got Dapo aye.

Cheltenham (H)
Credit to Evatt for noticing we couldn't get near them first 20 mins, playing around us with easy switched to 3 at the back with wing backs & overloaded the wings with pure intensity it was very promising even without our best attacker Dapo. When Dapo is back surely we have to have have him, Kach & Xav as the interchanging front three. Thomason was a man possessed today even with a yellow so early, Kachunga stepping up massively game by game & Amaechi is evidently eager to make an impact having the freedom on the pitch to pop up all over. Santos was excellent in his half back position, Aimson has some very dodgy hit & miss distribution but that header off the line was heroic. Obviously with our situation we was going to tire badly & with no bench to freshen things up compared to them you've got to be happy with a point hoping to build on a positive performance. Great game of football

Wycombe A
Just the most predictable thing ever, stay in the match go in at HT 0-0. Like many away matches this season, concede such a shit scrappy goal which you know is game over. Thought Wycombe would be a lot better than they actually are, they also very low on confidence but they've got a great bench for the level especially McCleary. We'll always lose scrappy games like that because we don't have players who want to get in the box and get on the end of things. It's Dapo vs the world & it has been even before the injuries bar maybe Baka who has been efficient but is a sick note. Dapo is the only player who's any threat in the entire team as soon as he releases the ball you know the move is going to fall apart as the other players just haven't got goals in them at all whether it's Doyle, Kachunga, Isgrove whoever is making up the front trio. 13th isn't bad at all & with the run in we have I'd be more than confident but with Gethin, MJ, Sheehan, Baka especially out it's gonna be hard watching Johnstone a defender low in confidence partnering a 19 year old prospect in the heart of the midfield with the same. We kind of knew on deadline day when we didn't bring some bodies in that it was risky, we went from central midfield being our strongest area of the pitch to having one senior in Lee fit who ironically is known as the most injury prone one of the lot!

Stockport FAC
Thomason got left in the shit more like, you can look shit when you're 19 & exposed trying to patrol a whole team. If you're anchoring the team it's usually for the older heads who know what's around them. At least he was giving his team mates some during the game, all the others couldn't have give a fuck. Soft as shit!

Stockport FAC
We may have to sell Dapo, get the coin & strengthen all other areas of the XI. Can't get far being a one man team, all they have to do is double up on him & that's us beaten.

Unlucky lads, we nearly held on from the 27th minute there at Anfield. You know, Klopps Liverpool are relentless & with crossers like Trent-Robbo putting balls into your box it's inevattable that they'll break through... we was? playing mid table non league Stockport? Didn't win one fucking 50-50 all game, fluked a 3-1 lead then didn't cross the half way line and we love participating in defending crossing drills. Quigley is x2 better than all our strikers put together and we're a fucking L1 team supposedly. No doubt the excuses will the magic of the FA CUP and all that bollocks but we rolled over. They absolutely dominated us all game. The worst part is that 120 minutes will have took out a lot before this buys schedule with a squad falling to pieces. Kachunga was basically playing Right back.

Well like a week later Lee, Thomason, MJ & Geth all signed new deals. Three obviously being central midfielders so Sarce probably got told he wasn't going to be offered a new extension so demanded to be let go now instead of seeing the season through.
