  1. That's the problem with our crop of politicians on both sides, they want to make it all about "them" and their wives and families like some Eastenders episode. My standard resignation speech as previously delivered: "You're not pumping me you bastards, here's my JL (Jacking Letter) and you can stick that in you effin pipe and smoke it" followed by upending the bosses desk onto his lap and walking out
  2. Opportunity squandered by piss poor politicians in my book.
  3. But aren't they supposed to be on the same side as right wing popularists?
  4. You must visit, I was "stranded" in St Emilion for a full week.. I remember wine cellars in tunnels deep into the escarpment with big steel doors as this was where the Resistance used to hide out. Then there was the Bordeaux ring road ...
  5. It is believed this is the tree where some thieving git in green tights used to hang out with an under age lass, an alcoholic catholic friar and an undersized thug called John.
  6. Major Oak ☚ī¸
  7. First Past the Post was adopted as part of electoral reforms after the first world war and was only intended as a "stop gap" until a fairer system was decided upon, AV or PR or some other. Trouble is, if you get into power via FPTP you then want to retain it no matter what you said previously. The Tories have been a historical supporter of FPTP... I wonder what their view is now they have become a minority party?
  8. In the early stages I supported the disruption... just like in this country the status quo is too comforatble and elite. BUT... he has gone far too far, bordering on a fascist dictatorship now and his public are blinded. Mid terms soon...
  9. I find the criminality of carrying out a rushed and bodged operation on the request of the Israeli state staggering, particularly how quickly the world has forgotten what happened on the first day owing to the obvious lack of preparation and military intelligence. Kids at school getting the sharp end of a Tomahawk missile? Indefensible. I lost all faith in the associated politics from then on... Why hasn't this been raised at G7? Worse than Putin in my book.
  10. Let's not forget the 120 school children in Minab on the first day...
  11. And Wes Streeting can treat the battered loser on a bed in the corridor just like he did as Health Sec... hope they won't need a dentist because they'll need a second mortgage
  12. A bit like going into the Wagon and Horses wearing a Munich shirt đŸ˜ĩ‍đŸ’Ģ
  13. Pissed off at losing one of the tankers they were supposed to be escorting ☚ī¸
  14. Or Mr Starmer uses this to force through his digital identity scheme for every UK adult and child
