Apparently (from an article I read) the disease started years before so yeah, he could well have been showing symptoms then Some expert claimed you could tell by the way he held his hand on the pitch that he was developing it - the pic they used was of Kennedy in a Liverpool strip Not sure how 'expert' they were but there you go

Sunderland 2 Wanderers 1
I never doubted it would be a tough season One things for sure we shouldn't be panicking - or if we are, at least 12 other clubs should be too We could have Mourinho in charge right now, it wouldn't matter - we're 2 or 3 good players from a safe top half team. In the last 2 years we've lost JJ, Stelios and Campo amongst others - top, seasoned players who are hard for us to replace He's signed well so far, hopefully he can get one or two more in Jan That's why I'd rather he looked for quality rather than Davenport and the like

A Tal Story?
Fair do's, my memory is sh?te, I had a vague recollection of him becoming a bit lackadaisical

Is Gary Megson On Crack?
Read the Nolan article then, it's on the BEN site I've seen him on TV saying things too, from hazy memory it was a MOTD inerview. Then what you just posted. There's three - and I'm no statto type who keeps a record of it. Debating whether he's right to do it is one thing. Denying he does it (then posting some evidence yourself) is just bizarre. I won't get into this 'provide links' nonsense, if you want to deny he makes barbed comments at the fans it's up to you. I think he's made his position quite clear.

Is Gary Megson On Crack?
Only yesterday he complained about his own treatment in the Bolton News, and I've seen / read a few interviews where he's done so. So in short, he does.

Is Gary Megson On Crack?
If he's not bothered why keep referring to it?

Is Gary Megson On Crack?
Fair do's. I'd love to see him turn this around, it means success for us if he does. I consider myself firmly on the fence when it comes to Megson, can't make my mind up one way or the other. I just think he's picking at an open wound with these negative references to the fans. He'd do better to be the 'bigger person' in it all.

A Tal Story?
Didn't he turn some dog sh?t performances in towards the end of his contract?

Is Gary Megson On Crack?
Sorry Zozzy but you are becoming as firmly entrenched in your position as the anti-Megson brigade are in theirs Megson DOES criticise the fans, regularly, and some of his comments verge on outright disrespect in my opinion In some ways I don't blame him - but he seems to apply a blanket 'the fans are idiots' approach to everyone There's people who neither love or hate him that will edge towards the 'hate him' camp if he keeps making these remarks I'm just not sure what he gains from it, are you?

Is Gary Megson On Crack?
My dad was talking to me the other day about AOB, story int BEN saying 'under fire O'Brien' I was baffled as to who he was under fire from I think Megson is trying to use it as a 'them and us' thing, and the BEN lap it up. The trouble is it will eventually make the players want to throw in the towel IMO By doing this Megson comes across as either a bitter tw?t or very silly. The one thing you don't do is purposely deepen a rift with your own fans, surely. Only be one winner in the end.

James Morrison - ?3 Million?
He's young though - there's many a player that took a while to mature and find their best, consistent form Some of them can be mid-twenties before they really find their feet, look at McGinlay for one

Browny
Hull boss Phil Brown on the penalty incident: "It's a tough one. The referee got it wrong because he gave it originally. "The linesman took up a position that he was giving the penalty but for some reason they've changed their mind between them. "The referee is 15 yards away but he consults a linesman who was 40 yards away from the incident." Next week he'll be moaning for video to be used so they "can get these decisions right" I hate the hypocrisy of these managers

Kevin Nolan!

My Take On Yesterdays Game
I think Armfield was involved with England youth/u21's or suchlike when Davies was at that level I heard him say on the radio a few years back when we signed him and he had his renaissance that he'd been baffled by Blackburn using Davies as a midfielder - he was an old fashioned English target man even as a young lad Lot to be said for putting people in their best positions, one of my pet hates is 'managers' who can't even manage this
-
Now You Might Take Me Seriously
That doesn't impress me massively, given we were bottom after ten games when he came in
-
Now You Might Take Me Seriously
All cheap options, especially the last 2 All clubs with money troubles, or at least less money than they had We've done the same with our last 2 appointments - cheap options Now, I was one of Megson's bigger critics but come on people... Liverpool and Wigan are two of the form teams in the division. I fear this will be the way for as long as Megson is here - he'll always be on a knife edge.

The Credit Crunch
The ramifications of this recession will be felt for a few years yet, so people saying it hasn't affected them are naive It will Crime and unemployment will shoot up in the next year and for my money we're still suffering the fallout from the eighties, so it'll have long term consequences too It's not good, and the truth is it's simply about people living beyond their means, it was obvious that most folk were doing so too
