  7. Just spent very pleasant 3 nights in Jersey. Spotlessly clean, & plenty pubs to go at.
  8. My favourite at the moment is over the top of the bedroom door. Drives her mental.
  9. Good ale in there like you say. I call in for a couple most days ont way home from work. And, only 7 quid a year membership.
  10. In fact, I'm going to start carrying "Just in case" beer mats with me from now on. Especially when I travel abroad. I'll get 11 for Hamburg next month @tomski
  11. Nowt worse than a boozer that doesn't have beer mats. Infuriating.
  12. Most these so called "premium" beers are brewed in the U.K. anyway. Moretti (Manchester), Stella, Becks & Corona (South Wales), Madri (Yorkshire). They're shite. Give me a pint of real ale any day. At least you know what you're getting. And a Belgian beer always goes down well.
  13. Franny Lee & Wynn Davies?
  14. 3 nights in Krakow next week. 4 nights in Hamburg April. Then, err, that's it up to now for this year.
  15. Yep. Well, I'm here.
  16. Definitely! Roll on April.
  17. Me & the wife went Saturday afternoon. We shall not be going again next year. Far too small for the amount of folk there. Or, am I just getting old?🙂
  18. They have them in Australia.
  19. Paul Heaton still splits his royalties with former members of The Housemartins & Beautiful South.
  20. I have a screw picket at home. Dug up near High Wood on the Somme (I didn't dig it up by the way). Along with a few shell cases that I found, also near High Wood.
  21. They vote where they're registered to vote.
  22. Away Guide | Stevenage (awaygames.co.uk)
  23. Yep. Me too.
  24. The smaller sister of Darcy Lever Viaduct, Burnden comprises six 73-foot lattice spans which were replaced in 1882, 34 years after they first carried trains. Originally the pillars were 15 feet higher but the land beneath was raised to accommodate a dual carriageway. This resulted in the River Croal being culverted and the Manchester, Bolton and Bury canal filled-in. Today, the structure is Grade II listed.
