  1. With the technology we have got for the players to get all their stats during a game, surely we could employ the same sort of system that city and everton employ. ie need ten away vouchers from last season for a ticket. Surely from an application - run it through the computer, see how many vouchers they have accrued and then ticket or no ticket. There are always ways round our system ie most people guessed that west ham and villa vouchers would be needed so bought them whether they were going or not. This whole thing should have been SIMPLE (but not for BWFC who are still living in the dark ages when it comes to ticketing)
  2. If we don't get tickets and the locals want ??20 a ticket - that is surely a result. They could probably eat and drink for a week on that !! In this day and age of rocketing premiership prices ??20 is nothing.
  3. Less than 910 fans went to west ham - all that went should get a ticket end of !! The club aren't going to mess around with refunding all the people that have booked on the "official package" - they will then only have half a plane full - then what do they do. This fiasco is Cardiff all over again. I have never known such ineptness. I notice they have the Wigan ticket details though !!
  4. Rocketing ticket prices, increased programme prices, shirts for auction / sale, extra games, very deep pockets !!! It is getting out of hand.
  5. According to the papers today if they don't produce results against blackburn and man cidee - he is on his way !! In for extra training last sunday as Mr Shepherd not a happy bunny.
  6. Tad harsh !! I thought it was slightly bigger and lower than you state.
  7. Was I dreaming or did an aeroplane nearly take a floodlight off yesterday ?
  8. I do agree with Pablo - you SHOULD charge us ??39. An eye for an eye and all that.
  9. At least you would have had a clear view of the pitch for that. Whatever we pay at yours there is a post in the way and your legs end up battered and bruised !!
  10. Yes but it used to be dirt cheap to watch those bad old days !!!
  11. The bubble has finally burst. Apart from Chelsea, Arsenal and United all teams are now struggling to fill the grounds. The prices have been gradually rising and people are now voting with their feet. Value for money, pound for pound, it is far cheaper to go to the boozer, watch the game on a dodgy channel and get bladdered. It will get gradually worse - particularly for the sky games. Watch out for the Portsmouth at home attandance !!!
  12. The problem always arises when we need to break down a team. Blackburn arrived with a game plan and it was down to us to break them down as the home team. Bolton have always been a good away side when sides attack us, we then pick them off on the break. When we need to take the initiative - we can't. Blackburn got what they came for - a good point at a hard place to go. We got what we deserved. Expect more teams to come to the Reebok and do the same !!!
  13. When we played Palace away last season, Mr Poll was in our hotel. (before the game) He asked us who our favourite player was and we answered Mr Diouf. He said how could our favourite player be a CHEAT !! He also went on to say that Stelios was just as bad. Those 2 players never got a decision yesterday. One passage of play after about half an hour Diouf got fouled near 1 corner flag - we played on and then stelios got fouled at the opposite flag - we played on. A top referee should not be making opinions like that public knowledge !!!
  14. I'm not really bothered what this half wit says, he is always wrong about us. So brilliant skill and flowing football will be the order of the day. (so long as we get 3 points against them, I ain't bothered !!!)
  15. Surely you are beautiful enough, why the need for a mirror ?
  16. Applied for 3 with both vouchers for all 3. Surely must get them !!
  17. Readings old ground - hanging baskets in the gents Blackpool - the away end got smaller with each visit due to it falling to bits Torquay - only been once and it was the worst bolton performance ever (phil neal got sacked after) Everton - no leg room and posts in the way Brighton (old ground) - open end loads of railings to look through Notts county (before developed) - like watching a game in a lions cage all those railings Notts forest (before development) - same as notts county Darlington (old ground) - could this be even classed as a ground ? Chester (sealand road) - more weeds growing than fans Barnsley (before development) - always cold, couldn't generate noise, nearest boozer "the yorkshireman" - rough as spanners.
  18. QPR - always take a good following and have a good drink outside the springbok Old wembley - the torch and wembley way Brentford - a pub on each corner of the ground Preston - before it was developed, the noise generated from the away end was superb Birmingham - the hostility is always immense, and the last minute winner last season was worth every trip !! Newcastle - even though we never win, the atmosphere and the ground are superb and the night out is worth the trip alone Wolves - purely for the fact they hate us and we do really well there. Millenium stadium - made for winners, not a nice place to lose Man Utd - just for being locked in when we had won Stoke (old ground) - dodgy place, good atmosphere
  19. Every deal we seem to be involved in is linked to this agent - and surprise surprise the deal always collapses. He appears to have no ethics. But it will surely do nothing for future potential signings as they will be scared of talking to us !
  20. This travel is killing us as glossop said. With living in Marple I only live 8 miles from cidee's ground - but I am sure something will go wrong !! Get your tickets and get behind the lads.
  21. Diouf can't complain - he clearly booted the ball away after the whistle. Stelios dived and then tackled from behind in retaliation - again can't complain. Davis had been talked to by the ref before his booking and was justified. From my point of view these stelios and dioufs bookings show a complete lack of discipline and both players should be fined. They were both avoidable. Diouf has 2 bookings in 4 games and with what is already a small squad - suspensions could be costly.
  22. CRACKING POINT !! Most football fans have access to the early game be it at home or in the pub, so why do we then want to see extended highlights. Should concentrate on games that have had no coverage.
  23. It was the right time for once, by the time I had got back from West Ham had a couple of beers - was just the right time to watch it again. Would rather be on last and win than be on first and inevitably lose.
  24. The onion bhaji flag was prevented from an appearance at West Ham due to the chief steward. He claimed it would be a safety threat if we put it in the "no mans land" between the 2 sets of fans. This is because if we put our flag up, they would want to put their flags up and so on. When we told him Blackburn had put flags on the mesh between the 2 sets of fans in their last home game, he said "we haven't used mesh for ages as cardiff and millwall tried to rip it up!" He was quite apologetic and said "take the flag to Bulgaria along with a bullet proof vest !" 2 - 1 you tossers is all I have to say.
  25. Euro sport has the draw on live at 12 o clock until 12.15 Was in sundays paper.
