  • The only reason you should go to Kwik Fit is if you need to ask for directions to a different garage.

Why do you think it needs doing ? ( serious question)

Has the system been diagnosed as short of gas.

If so ask the garage to show you where the leak is .

How they are going to repair it .

Then the system can be recharged .

So many folk get ripped  off with this .

Wouldn't advise using Kwik Fit or Halfords for ANYTHING unless it's a last resort.

I guess your point is that its a sealed system?

Is it not likely to get some losses over a period of up to 9 years...i dunno if it was done before i got it

I can pop round to yours tmrw if you fancy  :)

Even if it doesn't escape  it loses its ability to cool.

Got mine done today at Arnold Clark, £160.

Bit pricey, but was getting service done and could not be arsed fucking about.

Fucking hell.

If you have a fancy car and need the dealer service history for resale or lease requirements then do so.

If you have your own new or used car stay the hell away from any of the national tyre fitters for anything remotely beyond an emergency puncture.  They are fucking robbing bastards from prices to practices and everything in between.

Service for 2 years included in price of car, so cost nowt, so just use em for that.

MOT also, but i dont take them up on that….just know they will stick loads on that need doing.

Have a top mobile tyre dude, used him for years.

Fair enough but that recharge is pricey.

Missus has a nice Audi on a stupidly cheap lease she bagged when Covid hit. It went for the 1st service and they tried everything from tyres, brakes and brake fluid to make extra. Cunts would have made a fortune for absolutely no reason as it had done fuck all miles.
