Do you honestly think that someone who continuously received multi million pound contracts to play in the best league in the world whilst carrying more baggage than any other player, will all of a sudden struggle to get a job because he called someone on twitter? How many players who continuously received multi million pounds contracts to play in the best league in the world do you think are out there? Why do you think Barton jumps the queue ahead of them? L/H White Posted July 24 Posted July 24 if Mason Greenwood is still getting jobs in Spain & France, Joey won't have any issues Quote

Ani Posted July 24 Posted July 24 If Joey was not so desperate for media attention he would be miles better off financially. He had a little niche for himself as this slightly crazy but bright footballer and got appearances on Question Time, League of their own etc etc But scratching slightly below the surface the crazy for outweighed the intelligence. Ultimately he got sacked as a manager. I think it was on League of Their Own where could not name 2 members of his supposedly favourite band The Smiths. He is now jumping on a variety of bandwagons and is not bright enough to say his piece without crossing a line. Saying someone is a shit pundit is fair enough , saying her dad was basically a corrupt money grabber is a strange way of going about it . Joey himself is a contradictory character, first player ( I think to wear rainbow laces) at Newcastle sponsored the shirt of a player in the women's team. With the money he has, if I was him I would just be having a great time with the family but each to their own. Quote

I doubt many would take the prick serious. He is also an unsuccessful L1 manager on top of the stench he has attached to him Quote

If he was still a player maybe you’d have a point. As in your Greenwood example. But he ain’t a player anymore. He’s a manager. There’s fucking loads of out of work managers with better CVs and who aren’t cunts out there. Why would anybody choose that prick now? Quote

Well in that case Joey Barton was in his 20s when he was released from jail and continued to play in the prem. 🤷🏻 no argument here just pointing out facts. Quote

Management isn’t the only job in football, he could easily get work abroad, you’d be stupid to think otherwise. Quote
Site Supporter Spider Posted July 25 Site Supporter Posted July 25 Joey Barton has lost his head because his agent couldn’t get him on anywhere as a pundit. His ego couldn’t handle it So, Off he goes to Twitter where all it takes are a few controversial posts and suddenly you’re in the limelight you crave. 30 years ago he’d have been running a pub in Birkenhead with pictures of himself behind the bar. Jesus wept. Are you just pretending to be simple? Decent footballers such as Barton and Greenwood will always find an employer who will put morals to one side because they'll see a decent player there and that will outweigh the negatives, in their opinion. Barton is not proven as a good coach or pundit, so why would any club abroad want him ahead of the hundreds of other now retired footballers? Quote

Because hundreds of retired footballers don’t want to work in the media or management. It’s the exact reason Andy Gray and Richard keys walked into another job. Theres dozens of pundits we would say are shit, they all earning a wage both home and abroad. Do you honestly believe he couldn’t get a job in Saudi? Seriously? Quote

Why would anyone want him as a pundit? I'm sure they've already got their quota and there will be many, many more famous ex-players who would have a lot more experience in that line of work. Players whose opinions would be respected, not some head-the-ball who won one cap and fuck all trophies. If you bizarrely think he'll easily get a job as a coach then, again, why would he? There will be countless more higher profile managers looking for work. The Saudis want big names, not some scruff who failed in the lower leagues in England. Quote

Our very own manager, employed by a club that prides itself on its community spirit, was not to long ago twatter famous whilst stroking his love length for the world to see. He got a contract extension. But naaaa Joey Barton won’t get a job in a country that treats women as second class citizens. Quote

That's the idea - the Tate, anti-woke, anti-LGBT racket Except he's doing it in a country with much stricter libel and hate crime laws so he's getting himself tied up in all sorts of legal trouble as a result Quote
