I suppose it defeats the object of having you on ignore if people keep quoting you

At what point did Barton actually think it was OK to tweet the shit he did? - surely he knew he'd get sued

I’ve now blocked the pensioner too- do you mean Barton or Bolty?

Again you assume you know how I vote in your tiresome attempt to make childish points

I'm wearing you down then? :spiteful:

It was poor bait on Bolty's behalf, he's had a shocker.

Debatable that my friend. Net may not be bulging but getting full.

Shocker :D

Which is why you have been doing it for so long eh? Mates stick together. Admirable.

His wiki page suggests he's already paid nigh on £1M in club fines. That page is an interesting 5 minute read!

To think it's only 2 years ago he won manager of the month for Bristol Rovers and then oversaw that 7-0 win that got them up, one of the most amazing results in league history really. Shows that for all the hard man talk and desire to criticise others, he hasn't got the bottle to knuckle down (though he's good with is knuckles, I'll give him that!) and actually just grind out a managerial career while behaving himself. He's just taking the easy way out by taking to the keyboard. He should realise it's a waste of potential - but I doubt he's arsed really.

Maybe when he's skint it may lead to a reset. Temporarily

He's probably burnt quite a lot of bridges now

If his podcast fails to take off, I think his next step might have to be CDB grifting

Now they are are an odd bunch. Alan Thompson has been having bizarre melt-downs on twitter for a few months now, in between pushing CBD gummies or whatever they are. Felt genuinely concerned for him a few times.

Can’t look at Tommo’s tweets. Makes me sad.

But is it that surprising? In the 70s/80s/90s retired footballers used to open a pub, if you left school at 15/16 then finished your career at 35/6/7 - is it any wonder some turn to hawking crap around on social media?

Odd thing about Barton, is that I think somewhere up there he does have a brain, but background, arrogance or whatever means he won't back down when he's be affronted - the irony is he's got a thinner skin than those whe likes to have a pop at (like most bullies to be fair) so doesn't get a media gig, turns on the 'woke' BBC etc etc Its happened pretty much all throughout his career. Has literally no capacity for self-reflection - all failures are someone else's fault.

Oh, can't say I've seen his tweets. Take it they aren't great.
