So long as you use plenty of organic ammendments- compost/manure when planting, then most will thrive. Feed as well in growing season. 

Clematis will give good flowers (roots in shade, plant in sun is good), climbing rose etc.

They are obviously hungry plants as they grow quickly, so mulching, feeding etc.

Look online- there are loads.

I don't think it's the plan, it's just the point we release it's time we have to shit or get off the pot

Pissing about with it in the middle of the pitch is no good when we're a goal down deep in the second half and have to actually do something

We're too passive at times, and allowing them the ball. Then they slap in decent crosses.
