Now, as a nonwatcher of telly I thought it was poor. I’d always thought Southgate was a strong character but from what I saw ( admittedly not a lot) he seemed to have one plan which was we’ll do it better next time. And he did some gurning .

I only managed the first episode. Found the writing embarrassingly bad. Felt like I was watching Doctor Who or something.

It was dead easy to get a Russian visa provided you answered 'no' to the question about if you've been a member of a terrorist organisation

Read that for US fans got their ESTAs months ago, booked flights and hotels and are now finding out that the visa has been revoked without explanation
