  • Don’t normally post personal stuff. Yesterday was a tough day taking my mum & dad to various hospital appointments. Life eh. Didn’t get a ticket as didn’t know what time we’d be done. Got back hom

  • We get an equaliser in injury time , a centre forward who has not really performed since he got here rather than celebrating he gets the ball to get the game restarted quickly. Great attitude.

  • YOU FUCKING BEAUTIES. GET TO FUCK ALL THOSE WHO WROTE US OFF AFTER 7 MINUTES, YOU COWARDLY CUNTS

Luton pissing the bed getting close to £5M quid off Hudds & us for the trio of Joe Taylor/McAtee/Mendes. £3.5M for Taylor! Also got to say the two lads who supposedly turned us down for more money Ledson & Roughan seem average L1 players so glad we didn’t push the boat out

Contrary to that, Christie wouldn't have been so weak and let their goal scorer get free for an unmarked header.

Or alternatively, we don't know what the presence of the other would have or wouldn't have achieved.

Yes, I did say pre-match that Christie may be the better bet defensively.

I was just giving Cogley a bit of credit for his contribution to us seeking and getting the equaliser.

If Christie had played we may have kept a clean sheet and he may have assisted like he did v Posh, who knows.  Just my take on it that Cogley seems to have more of an engine than most.

I've watched JDC before marking in the box on corners and he is a little terrier and a nuisance to the opposition. He absolutely looks at his man, grapples him, pisses him off, loads of moaning from whoever he marks.

Caught my eye one week, so now notice it. And yes, he lost his man on Thursday, but he is deffo in there to do a specific role.

You just know the last few weeks Forino would have been there with a clearing header too.

Yes he would.  Last season it would have been him or Santos, or maybe Forrester.  Its not many games in the last few years when at least 1 of those 3 haven't been in our defence, and it makes a difference to us aerially when they're absent.  I'd be happy to have Forino back next game.

Yes according to Terriers fans no more that 12k on which just once again shows how well we do both at home and away.

Thursday night live on Sky when you're on a poor run is never going to bring home fans out in droves, it wouldn't have been a pretty sight if it was us at home either, on the back of a home defeat the last game.

SS said in his interview that he selected JDC ahead of Christie because he thought his energy and work rate on their big pitch would benefit us

I did notice a couple of Huddersfield's players (the LB Roosken and RB Gooch for eg) but those two passed me by.  A lot of nonsense is spoken in the summer about the value of L1 players that we should supposedly be going for.  If we'd signed Roughan for eg, presume he'd be understudy to Conway.

And whatever they paid for Taylor judging by that game, it was too much.  Add Charles to that and they've not had the best value this year have they!

Can't argue with that, I don't suppose our pitch is any smaller so I guess that selection is nailed on for every home game!

Cardiff will be the start of a tough run of games as we’re playing the current top three during the next month, so for it to be “on” we would probably need to reel them in whilst not fucking it up against the likes of Vale and Luton.

It’s not impossible for us to go on a run and climb the table because we can beat anyone in this league on our day - but we have to shake off the inconsistency.
I’m praying we do.

They won't be the current top 3 once we've finished with them.

Make your mind up, its one or the other 😀

I loved those 3 minutes so much (and the replays on loop since!)

I'm 33 and my ticker can't take that every week, never mind the blood pressure of the erm, more experienced parts of our fanbase!!

Really though, it's unsustainable to leave it so late. I dream of an away win where it's wrapped up before the hour!!

Yes. Players I'd never heard of until we were linked & then became desperately sorry we were outbid by Huddersfield before becoming fatalistic about it.

Didn't realise McAtee tripped up over the ball

Great run.

Good strength too.

The way he handed May off. He’s a tall lad, Max but with the way he runs and carries himself, he actually looks bigger than he probably is. Really stature. Going to be a big big player

That perfectly sums up McAtees time with us.

Part lf the reason he could readily play further forward in a midfield role.

Does seem to be able to drive forward with the ball quite comfortably.

The risk there is that being further uo the oitch will leave him less spacw to run into

There would be fewer people to get past though.

It is one missing part of our midfield at the moment.

Just the odd game, it may be worth a go, especially if the wingers aren't being effective.
