November 7, 2025Nov 7 It seems incredible that the contract with Macron runs until 2031. Just the 17 years in total.

November 7, 2025Nov 7 How long is the Toughsheet contract on the ground? If I were to make a completely high level guess, I’d say the most obvious possibility, and likely the thing that would most interest Reebok, would be to return the stadium name to the Reebok Stadium. Likely to gain the most coverage, I’m sure the Toughsheet deal will be up earlier than Macron, and cost side wouldn’t be huge (I know the Toughsheet deal was a good one, but all relative). Could be way way wide of the mark, but that would be my guess.

SB said tonight that the toughsheet fella (Dougie) has said he will sponsor the ground for as long as needed but will happily step aside for a bigger sponsor.
November 7, 2025Nov 7 Did they mention the £60k fine due to the extremely awful behaviour of two blocks in east upper ?

Fair play, proper top fan behaviour if that’s the case. Pump the club with money but chuck any ego to the side if it’s best for the club (clearly he’d be paid out of any remaining contract). All complete speculation, might be way wide of the mark and as @jmjhb points out, it could be 3 more years as the Toughsheet - I would love it to be back to the Reebok Stadium though. Not arsed in the slightest about them making the kits, Macron are doing a great job, but the stadium name just feels ‘right’.

Seem to remember that The toughsheet feller did it to honour his deceased wife rather than a business thing .

Ignoring length of the macron contract I've always been pretty happy with the quality of the kits and not wanted Reebok back (other than for nostalgia). However this season's are poor in comparison with no personalised touches to show they're not just a different colour scheme of a standard set.

November 8, 2025Nov 8 Very impressed by Mr. Toughsheet's take on this. Regarding the ground name, a little like cricket's Gilette Cup, they can change it all they like but it will always be that original one that sticks. ... &, yes, I do still use miles, feet, inches, pints, ounces, lbs, stones and Fahrenheit.
