Was thinking burial at sea but it’s expensive. 
Not wasting any wood on casket anyhow 

I'm at the age now where all my mates parents are kicking on and staring at boot hill.

My old man's 81 and just spent a week in hospital. My mates dad just been diagnosed with the old Bengal.

My Mrs mate had to leave work yesterday as her old man collapsed.

My best pal lost his dad not long after my mum went.

Fuckin rubbish innit.

Hopefully the bastard Lords don’t stop the euthanasia bill . Ironic that most of them should be first on the list

@crawshawbooth You ok ? One of the reasons I bother staying on this forum is it’s open discussion of the black dog 

Informed my family of what I want to happen when I die.

Cremation, ashes spread at Rivi Pike so I can enjoy the view of the stadium. 

I've insurance in place through my work pension which is enough to pay off the mortgage and some when I go. 

But having had about 8 relatives die in the last 3 years, I plan to enjoy myself and not worry about it too much,

Funnily enough did my will last week 

Gone with burnt as once the novelty of me dying has worn off I'll get fuck all flowers on my grave 

Also stated no flowers and a chantry donation 

Need to sort my will out as mentioned on here before 

Potentially getting married too just to reduce any inheritance tax issues. Quite the romantic

Same and this is key for me.  Save for a pension and a retirement that you may never make by all means but you've got to make the most of the one time we're here.  We, in the UK/Western Europe etc are extremely blessed to have been born into a society where, largely speaking, we get generous amounts of leisure time and the means to enjoy it.

Its fuckin rubbish as you say , and it messes with your mental health

we can talk shit about nothing on here for days ,weeks ,or months but once people we know keep falling off their perch its meaningless
