blackburn were a bunch of thugs

they came for a fight and we weren't good enough to make it anything else

Poor game all round, but Campo should have scored.

Very surprised to hear Campo and Pedders filling the full-back places but with Hunt and Gardner on the bench.

To quote Northy, WTF?

And WTF had Campo done to his hair? :-k

On this performance, and I hope there aren't many of them, I may consider not getting a season ticket next season and picking my games.

How can you call this match a Cat A+ and pay top dollar for it.

If I'd been at home the telly would have been switched off at half-time and I could have spent the rest of the afternoon with my family, then again.

Oh to be a Wanderer.

..and the plane! In my moment of daydreaming I thought I was at county's ground for a mo

agree too, bit piss poor today :?

ragging abysmal display. Shite substitutions as usual.

I know we shouldn't complain because the standard of this football is so far above the Div 3 & 4 days of the 80s - but it was up in my top ten for poor BWFC matches. Nothing happened. Nothing to make you jump out of your seat. It was dull. Give Blackburn credit - they have a game plan to snuff the opposition and they closed us down so efficiently, breaking up any play we tried to create. Their No.6 was awesome at the back and stopped Davies in his tracks. I felt it was pointless asking Borgetti to do any better - the guy is too light weight (Owen Coyle Mk2).

And that friggin sun - it was in my eyes for the entire game. Still got a splitting headache! And how sad is that? That I'm talking about the friggin sun and not a mind-blowing world class performance from Okocha or Diouf.

Blackburn came and set their stall out for a draw. Bolton particularly in the second half were happy to take a draw. Rubbish game. I can't wait to see how Match of the Day pad out their programme tonight for their was precious few highlights.

ragging HELL !!!!!!!!!!

i'm shocked and stunned , you are all agreeing with me

Jay Jay should of gone, this town is only big enough for one Jay

But we will still all be there on Thursday cheering them on.

true!!

hope them part time supporters who left early havent applied for away plovdiv tickets!!

thank f??ck i dont have to watch that shit every week.

it wasn't

Can't remember the last time I was so bored at a Bolton match, it was truley awful today. dull dull dull.

The only thing that made today worthwhile was the two blondes who sat behind us.

terrythomas_2.jpg

in a nut shell we couldent brake them down and the same goes for them both teams packed the midfield and neather team had the ball to long.

think it was one of the most borring games iv seen at the reebok who ever chose that game for a sky supper sunday needs shooting.

cant think that it was a bad performance just got to put it behind us and forget about it witch wont be to hard for me.

ok you lot it was a point gained moved us up a place in table blackburn came for a draw and nealy got a win. Mr poll followed camera man round pitch all game smiling and laughing only to stop and tell allardyce to shut up or he willl be sent to stands. gary neville posing bastard i,m on telly watch me ragging jeff winter mk2 take the point and leave it at that got a funny feeling thurs will be worse and as for mr lawrensons prediction of two over physical teams playing out bore draw he was spot on for a change.

Fecking hate Robbie Savage - twta

Campo's a major liability at right back, said that after they tried it out pre-season. We got lucky yesterday.

Can't understand why Sam left us well short of defenders - suggest he takes anyone out of contract, match fit or not. With the combination of internationals, UEFA and the domestic games, we can't depend on what we have till January.

what was the score again? :-k

The problem always arises when we need to break down a team.

Blackburn arrived with a game plan and it was down to us to break them down as the home team. Bolton have always been a good away side when sides attack us, we then pick them off on the break.

When we need to take the initiative - we can't.

Blackburn got what they came for - a good point at a hard place to go.

We got what we deserved.

Expect more teams to come to the Reebok and do the same !!!

as with the everton game the disapointing thing was that when the hoof was nt working we did nt seem able to get the ball downm and play some decent football.

it was srange when gardener came on that he did nt go to left back.

it was strange that campo stayed on the pitch.

overall given how we played a point was as good as we deserved.

what was evident was that once a team starts losing its confidence it aint long before things start falling apart. In the second half the back 4 were shocking. not in terms of how they defended but how they gave the ball away and put pressure on themselves.

as homer says seems wrong to criticse defence when score was 0-0 but we kept giving the basll away so midfield judst got deeper and deeper so when we did put some play together was no one supporting the forwards.

To be honest, the game was pretty much what most people expected. We never do well at home against Blackburn, but on this occasion, we didn't get beat and we kept a clean sheet. It could have been worse.

Now we move on to City who'll play a much more open game against us, which will suit us.

Dead right

Campo and Peders - and I don't entirely blame them cos they were out of position - gave the ball away a few times. Playing in the back four is at times a percentage game - whereas they tried high risk stuff too often.

For all that Blackburn were and are a stubborn, tough side to beat, despite the bad-ish start they've made.

We were crap really, but one bad performance isn't the end of the world.
