Carlos Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 If you'd walked out of a bar to find yourself in the middle of the Rangers "mob", it'd be a different story :-#

What a bunch of w*ankers especially those from bolton who support the scottish scumIt was Bolton who kicked it all off :-$ It was Bolton who kicked it off. We all got kicked out of a bar just up the road. We made our way to the harbour. Most of us made our way into the bars, but a small pissed-up group thought it would be clever to start chanting the usual England chants and getting in the jock's faces. I didn't see what eventually kicked it off, but you don't go taunting hundreds of pissed Glaswegians when you're out-numbered ten to one and not come away with a kicking. The lads who spent any time with the Scottish fans on either nights found them to be top lads. They had nothing to good things to say about Bolton supporters (apart from the nobs who appeared to start it all) and especially the team and the respect they have north of the border. This has been the best away UEFA trip for me so far. This was due to the laugh we had with the Rangers fans. My dying memory will be on the last night when they were all singing Bolton songs. Even the old bill couldn't get us out of a bar until we had all finished the last verse of 10 German bombers.
Carlos Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 The England song (which I think is shit btw) ends off with a No Surrender bit, that didn't cause anything.
Burndens Bogs Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Personally, i've never really bought into the "friends with Rangers" shite, and i can't help feeling that trouble in Porto was inevitable, thousands of pissed up Glaswegians and hundreds of English has got "kick off" written all over it - no matter what your religion or politics. We should end any association with the fcukers.

The Moose Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I was there when it kicked off in Porto. There was a lot of good humoured banter when one of the Bolton lads threw a glass bottle in our direction. I was stood talking to some rangers fans at the time. As we walked to one side I saw chairs and beer being thrown then the police waded in. Not a pretty site. It didn't spoil my trip and I am looking forward to the next. We met some whites from Oldham and Gloucester before the game, they were spending that night in a car. What do ya think of vaz te' now then boys?

Smiley Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Easy for me to say.... but maybe you should be looking to root out the Bolton loon who started it all and knock fcuk out of him. Keep you Rangers stuff. Keep your allegiance with them. Don't let some not-right ruin your obvious love for Rangers. Its not worth it! Just let the dust settle.
