marple whites Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 Surely can't blame Jussi for the own goal - Hunt had time and space (nearest attacker a few yards away). Showed complete one footedness - he could have easy cleared with his left foot. Instead he nearly knocked Jussi out. Counted 5 times when Hunt had the ball and ballooned it out of play. He has played well at international level if you could be bothered to read the reports. Confidence is a big thing in football. If you were a 20yr old just back from injury and scored an own goal 10 minutes into a major game in front of live tv cameras you would have a bad game too. he hit it with no effort. could have smashed it out of the ground. suppose he couldnt be arsed.
