leigh white Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I always thought at the time, was our 1-4 home defeat by Shrewsbury, in 82, but then came more doom and gloom, and as "TWIGGY" pointed out, that game at Scarborough, what a disaster, but apart from the result, what a top day out.
leigh white Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 Shit! the Shots are going to shut up shop!
leigh white Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 I hate Aldershot more than Man Utd. Yeh, but it was going to happen, so which team we had to meet in the play-offs, anyway, had a great time in div 4, what with us , Wolves and Burnley in the mix.

If I remember correctly Scarborough's first 3 home games were Wolves, us and Burnley - all played at the weekend. Sort of thing the 'fixtures computer' doesn't allow these days. One of the funniest bits of news footage I have ever seen was a Wolves fan at the first game of the season falling through the stand - he somehow managed to go through the actual roof in slow motion before dropping like like a stone to the concrete below. I hope he didn't hurt himself :^o
