I sat near the scoreboard for the first time in a while, it is the worst atmosphere I've ever experienced at a Bolton game. However, I got the impression that the fans had just been beaten by whoever within the club is trying to create a theatre/cinema style environment. It is 100% the club's fault.

and they will do fcuk all about it aswell.

 

i don't think they realise that it all adds to the matchday experience and its no wonder our gates are falling and will continue to do.

We are in a downward spiral, as more people get pissed off with being treated like shite, the more people choose to watch the game on Sky or Al Qaeda. This has the knock on effect that their mates also decided to go to the pub with them, crowds are dwindling, matchday experience is seriously diminished, what are BWFC doing apart from fook all?

 

Other side of the coin was that yesterday was worth ??15 of anyone's money.

The lack of enthusiasm from me came from the fact that i had not put enough layers on and I was trying to cocoon myself to try and keep warm

I don't know what other peoples experiences are, but have never had a problem away, apart from Pompey when I was sat at the back, was told to sit down, two words "F??ck off" end off problem, heard no more. Why from what I read doe's this problem only appear to happen at the Reebok?

I think if they club were shocked at the lack of ST holders renewing last summer, they will be in for a bigger shock next year

Contrast the Reebok with OT yesterday lunchtime, the whole of the Stretford end and old away end opposite were stood for 90 minutes

 

Things changed at OT after Red Nose had a word a couple of years ago - they don't get touched home or away now and create more noise than we could ever do

I think if they club were shocked at the lack of ST holders renewing last summer, they will be in for a bigger shock next year

i sit in the east stand lower and i too am getting pissed off with the stewards, i don't know if anyone else saw it but one guy was thrown out near the band because he objected to being hit in thr face by a steward trying to throw someone out!!!

Thank fu??k a bit of commonn sense prevailed then. See, it can be done! Unlike chucking a bloke out of the ESL for standing up against the wall on the very back row of the ESL against Arsenal

I didnt see any stewards throwing any man united fans out when they stood up for 90 minutes. (as they do every season and NOTHING is done)

I was close to walking out at one point, the atmosphere was dead & everything about going to the Reebok is sh??te. We went down for a pint on 30mons, took us til the end of half time to get served by the cocky border-jumper on the bar. One lad had to point at what drink he wanted, coz they couldn't understand Englsih on there

 

The stewards were threatening to chuck people out for standing up on the back row AGAIN. One of them seemed really pleased with himself too, his wife must be a right hound dog if that made him happy.

 

Another match on telly too, I don't blame anyone for sitting at home/watching it in the pub, when everything is sooooooo f??cking bad in that ground.

 

However, the lads on the pitch did us proud

i have never seen a steward chuck anyone out of the ground and sit in the eats stand lower, but at the other end.

 

 

was surprised how quiet it was on saturday as 5.15 kick offs normally mean people are 'merry' by kick off.

With the exception of a handful of games every season Old Trafford has a vey poor atmosphere.

I went to O T and the atmosphere wasnt all that good saying it was the Manny derby, better than the Bok granted, but at the end of the day there was 53,575 more people at O T than The Reebok.

The thing with united is that they all stand and so the stewards couldn't do anything if the wanted to as there is just too many people standing, at bolton you get pockets of people standing which is much easier to control so untill the whole of the east lower stands together this will never end.

i always sit north lower. and the apnosphere there is a horrible, we start to sing "were the one and only wanderers" and it only last for like 10seconds, the apnosphere needs to go up big time, we need to get nehind the boys as much as we can..!! anyone agree??

I thought one of the reasons that the atmosphere was bad, was because West Ham were so bad. We couldn't take the p1ss out of their fans, because they were taking the p1ss out of themselves. It all just seemed too easy and so it seemed like we didn't have to get behind the team.
