Stay Away Fans

There will be genuine reasons for fans who missed yesterdays game related to work and family.

However for those who last night missed the game for the usual reasons such as money, shite football, Issues with Sam and the Reebok experience, surely last night you could have put those behind you, come down for a fiver and got behind the team you "support" at home where we need the support most in order to push on for Europe?

maybe they dint know a season ticket holder???

Agree totally mate.

??5 and only 22,000. What would the crowd have been without them?

Quite worryingly was the number of ??5 fans I heard saying it was a waste of money!!!

Me personally, i didn't think it was that bad of a game(well 2nd half). With a little bit of luck we would have won easily.

I've seen Bolton dominate games like that before & lose, so I'll take a point from last nights game, regroup & go for the throats of Watford & Fullham.

6 points from those games & were back on track.

The Ref was Shocking, our play in the final 3rd was a bit poor & our finishing was a let down.

But the pressure in the 2nd half was exciting in parts & like I've said before, with a little luck we could have won.

As for the stayaway's Fcukem!!!!!!!!!

Regards Isaac

Maybe a lot of fans are jest fed up with BWFC & football in general?

I'll be honest, spending x amount of money on football at the moment is very low on the priority list for me - and it used to be something I really looked forward too & always made sure I saved for.

Don't forget Charlton brought about 150?

If the away end was full it'd have been 26-27k on a wet Weds night...

's not that bad.

I BOUGHT A ??5.00 TICKET FOR A MATE BUT LEFT IT AT HOME SO HAD TO QUEUE UP AT THE TICKET OFFICE FOR 25 MINUTES IN THE RAIN TO GET A DUPLICATE SORTED, YOU WONT BELIEVE THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE QUEUEING UP FOR AGES TO GET TOLD THEY COULD NO LONGER HAVE A TICKET FOR A FIVER AND WOULD HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE , DONT WE NEED ALL THE FANS WE CAN GET IN THE STADIUM , AS YOU CAN IMAGINE - THE PEOPLE WHO GOT TOLD TO PAY FULL PRICE THEN TOLD BWFC WHERE TO STICK IT .

If folk turn up at the last minute, they should know what to expect.

However, the club should be prepared for such a rush as these supporters will probably not be lost as paying customers for one game, that could be it for them full stop...

given the shitty weather and the attraction of charlton, live football on telly and charltons following last night crowd was not that bad.

take the best three forwards out of any team in the divsion and they wll struggle

united without rooney, saha and larsson

chelsea without drogba. and any other two

arsenal without henry and any other two.

the biggest dispointment for me last night was how poor charlton were and given that can not see them finsishing above pie eaters or the world cup winners.

wait till fulham gane 20k

My mate forgot his season ticket the other week, had to queue up at the worlds slowest ticket offfice (they'd be better off training up chimps) and then they charged him ??5 for his replacement ticket...........it's not like ST's are cheap to start with.

I'm glad I don't bother anymore.

wait till fulham gane 20k

spoke to the ticket office last week and they said the fulham tickets were selling better than the charlton tickets, that makes sense as i think it is still school hols and more people can make sunday games than wednesday nights.

bravo isaac, in your old age your becoming a wise old sage.

Amen to that, was quite happy I stayed in the warm at home last neet :p

YOU WONT BELIEVE THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE QUEUEING UP FOR AGES TO GET TOLD THEY COULD NO LONGER HAVE A TICKET FOR A FIVER AND WOULD HAVE TO PAY FULL PRICE

I'm sure you will find that this was announced on the official site that full price would apply on the day of the game.

I just can't believe that people just don't read or enquire before venturing. The same thing happened on Sunday when fans just turned up expecting to get on 'free coaches'. I had to explain to two chaps how on earth would the club know how many coaches to put on if they just turned up expecting to get on.

ok people should have checked, but why not sell em a ticket anyway ?

turning people away from a not full ground is daft.

the coaches obviouslly is different.

I can't think of a reason why people couldnt pay ??5 yesterday and get in.

What BWFC don't seem to understand is when someone walks away (from any business), they never come back.

Thousands of people must have walked away from The Reebok now, unable to get in. The Carling Cup games and Watford are some examples of games I've had problems getting into and have seen people walking away from.

When your potential customer base is so limited, you simply can't afford to treat people like shit and never apologise.

You reap what you sow.

I can't think of a reason why people couldnt pay ??5 yesterday and get in.

Coz the club are quite happy to turn away fans, who in turn get sick of them & don't bother coming back :good:

TMW missed this one due to a good old Salsa dancing lesson!!!

Thought I would swing a few girls round the room, instead for once!!!!!

Thought I would swing a few girls round the room, instead for once!!!!!

I can't believe that:

a) you did that instead

and

B) you openly and voluntarily admitted it

Woah, woah, waoh, woah, don't put this behaviour as having anything to do with Marple or "normal" folk from Marple.
