How many tickets have we sold and why have we not soldout at ?20 a ticket.

Ok past performances against wigan have been poor but for ?20 against our closest rivals on distance (althought this has not been measured) we shouldbe capabl of aselling all our tickets!!

I have heard numbers like 2300 tickets sold that is a shambles!! come on lads support the club and silence the JJB Shed!!

Quite a few people will be on holiday as it is Easter. Might be a reason

Some people's wives work weekends, again!!!!

:cray:

there will be at least 3000

Got mine at midday with voucher number 2790 so only expect 3000 to travel

so, in conclusion, at ?20 a ticket, it's not football prices that are stopping people from going to the games then?

I am going but believe it or not people do have other things to do on a weekend than go to watch football at Wigan.

I know I'm one of them

I also will be missing the match, as I have had the cheek to book the weekend away with my family

I'll be in Shropshire shooting deer. Not a whiff of pastry for a hundred miles.

It is a shite ground, and many people went twice last season, they see the game as being a poor game of football and its easter weekend.

Had it been Easter Monday, I have a feeling that there would be a lot more going.

For all the reasons people have given for not going I think a following of 3000 at 20quid a ticket for a 5th placed club is piss poor.

How many other premier league clubs in our position would sell so few tickets

Let me guess you are not married, don't have children and probably the nearest you come to sex is DIY watching the 10 minute teaser on Freeview?

I'm not commenting til after the match on Saturday, I still doubt that we'll have less than 4-5k on.

just got 2 tickets for pieland voucher numbers 2910 and 2911

no more than 3,000 will be travelling.

For many people this weekend is the only chance they'll get until summer to spend any significant time with children & family, which actually matters a lot to some, you know. Even more than football!

For me personally this is not the case, as I stated previously I'm off to pursue a hobby that is very limited on time (shooting season). Add to this the fact you can't pay on the day, the weather looks promising and that even the relatively small sum of ?20 is still 9 or 10 pints and you have a 3,500 following.

All things considered, that is still a decent following.

I was thinking the same but having spoke to a lot of people it does look as though our following will be closer to the 3000-3500 mark. But thats still ok, 500 of us would out sing the pie men.

I'll be getting tickets on saturday. Its time for revenge!!
