January 15, 200818 yr Ok, as players...Anelka pisses on AJ. But my point was really about what sort of alround player, person, investment. On that score they are similar, as AJ, is still with us, and Anelka has done what everyone knew he would. AJ is our inform striker....more goals that the Yak in last 6 or so games. Quality player, but Anelka is World Class, without a doubt!

P.S.It is such a shame that he was not here when JJ and Djorkaeff were here and we were getting nearly full house's every week, Anelka would have enjoyed his time at the Reebok more. Yep, we've had some great players in the last few years, just a shame in a way that they weren't all part of the same team. Hierro stroking passes through to Djorkaeff and on to Anelka would have been something to see.

January 16, 200818 yr AZ anyone ??? Well fcuking done. We took our reserves to Munich (and Red Star) and got results at both places. Then we play them against Sheffield United and they lose. Does that mean our squad is as good as or better than yours? As for Johnson, he is not worth anything more than ?6m, and he is NOT better than when he first came to you, until these 4 goals you mention he hadn't scored since sometime around March. Our Vaz went on a similar scoring spree once, I'm not sure we'd take anything less than ?10m for him though.
