Visiting supporters should only ever be allocated the South Stand Upper in my opinion. Lower tier should always be reserved for home supporters only. Villa have done something similar this season so that their supporters are behind both goals.

It looks like the combined factors of cheap tickets, singing end and promising to field a half decent team have proved too much for the part timers to turn down.

didn't make a blind bit of difference earlier in the season.

According to the club today, they were kepping South upper and lower for pay on the day fans but had to sell tickets for South Lower to meet demand. The South Lower is now almost full and they are/will be selling tickets for the upper too. So probably about 2500 shy of capacity not taking into account the number of away fans. How many will be leaving it this late to get tickets tho ? Anyway should be 25,000 on at least. Good news.

my only fear now is that ?5 will be seen as a 'reasonable' price rather than the club drastically reducing ticket prices in order to create a crowd.
