Lot of truth in that - apart from the obvious anger at chucking a lead away, my main gripe on saturday was the thought that if we'd played like we did for large parts of that game (albeit against 10 men, I know) against the weaker teams we'd now be safe. Some of the passing and movement early in the 2nd half reminded me of better days.

Absolutely spot on. Why is it that players seem able to raise their game against Bayern, Man Utd, Arsenal, etc, but go AWOL against teams we should be wiping the floor with? The one consolation on Saturday was that there are probably only two teams in the league who would have been capable of rescuing something from that game, and one of them was Arsenal. Wigan play Birmingham at the weekend, IF we can somehow beat Villa, we're back in with a shout of staying up but it's a very big 'if'...

We could still overtake Wigan, they have a very tricky run-in and i think their last win was against us.

a. A power cut
