I'm not bothered who you've voted for, just wondered how many people have voted?

At work, I'd say less than half have bothered. General reason seems to be apathy, but I would have thought postal voting made that easier?

not voted as i left home before the pole opened and i'll not be back until gone 10

Poles work longer hours than that.

I will be voting after work.

Will make fcuk all difference as no idea who is even standing, last time voted liberal because saw the candidate stop handing out leaflets to help an old woman who had dropped her bag !

Not as yet, and probably wont get time after work. Supposed to be watching Bjork in Blackpool tonight, but that is up in the air now, as the better half is having a laptop crisis and cant prepare for her interview tomorrow.

Phew.......... :unknw:

I shall be turning out when I get home, in fact I am leaving work early especially for that reason

Massive choice in Widnes Labour/Conservative or Lib Dems, not even a single other candidate, Labour will p?ss it by 99% of the votes and will think they are doing a great job, nothing to do with the people in Widnes just do it 'cause I've always voted Labour'

So, I'm going to wipe some smegma on my ballott paper plus I shall be adding some sweat from my crack over it too, just to give it a tad more aroma

Actually, can they trace the ballott paper back to me? I don't want deviants knocking at my door, I have enough buried under the shed as it is :-k

I have - this is as big a tory stronghold as you could find!

I know. My daughter unfortunatly had to be born in East Surrey hospital, my god, Reigate makes Crawley look good!

yes on the way to work.

Don't let national politics get the way here, its all about local issues. Our local councillor does a superb job and gets my vote, even though she isn't from the party I would traditonally support.

Widders has a decent point about the number of candidates. Just the bog standard Tory, Labour and Lib Dem for us - what happened to the Greens, BNP, Independant nutters etc?

I will be voting later on today even though the polling station is no longer round the back of a nearby Pub, vote have a quick pint you can't fault it, but has a new home in a church hall about 3/4 mile away.

I find thes local elections abit of a joke!!! In my neck of the woods the local boys don't canvass or come and with policies etc. Its all down to the TV with the top brass representing them!!

Needless to say the X will be passed when I get home!

Am confused - in what way?

At least Crawley feels like a proper town rather than just London overspill and its closer to the South Downs. Plus its a bit rough. Oh and because I said so. Also got a crap kebab on the day my daughter was born that was expensive. They also always vote Tory. Its too close to Redhill. Too many B&Bs. There's a place called Salfords nearby. All good and valid reason I think.

I can't believe I'm defending Crawley. You are right, let's just say they are both a shite as each other and have done.

Oh and I've not voted yet.

The Council decorates the main street with the English flag for the week commencing 23rd April - that's good enough for me!

Plus we're right on the edge of the North Downs (well I think it's the North downs). Don't know about b&b's but it has the biggest poker club outside London and a low number of Chavs.

I would only ever go to Crawley for the Cinema (have to get the train as wouldn't leave my car there) and the only other positive for Crawley is the large number of number of air hostesses residing in the area - but the classier ones tend to live in Reigate!

I can't remember the last time i voted,it would have been in the early 1990s.

I don't care about the outcome of these elections. If there was voting on the next England manager i would vote.

That Bolty he's on Rainbow Warrior as we speak.

Not my favourite folk the frogs but when they sunk that fooker, it did raise a smile in the Bolty household.
