May 12, 200818 yr From the Bolton news, so probably a load of shite: "I know he's not everyone's favourite but we got four points from the two games he played - and that's more than we did away from home with Nicolas Anelka"
May 13, 200818 yr that depends if the players perform like they did in the last 6 games or like the run of 6(?) straight defeats.... they have proved they ARE good enough, its all about consistancy... a couple of players are we'll be good for comfortable midtable mediocrity... Unless the clubs coming up from the Championship spend massively, I think it's all but decided who will go down next season. We need some pace in attack and a good passer in midfield, otherwise I am not too concerned. That is unless Megson signs Rasiak on the basis that he makes the 11 and only plays half a game each time, tactics or not.
May 13, 200818 yr As good as anelka is, he is an unsettling influence within every club he has played for as he is forever looking for the next move, I said at the time we would be a better unit without him, it has taken longer than I thought but I think I have been proved right. As was proved at Chelsea, for those who stayed on to watch / abuse the Chelsea players on their lap of honour. TBH (who has far more reasons to be pissed off with his lot this season) took place in the lap but one guess who was missing...
May 13, 200818 yr Anyone who read that and agreed with any of it, even a tiny amount should know that they have air where their brains should be. If I recall correctly, during this interview he was defending himself on his Rasiak signing and also about the Lisbon team. I think he actually said he put out the strongest team he could and the others were ALL injured! I can understand Megson wanting to gloat and he must have a huge resentment about all the flack he received. After the amazing run in the last few games he's abviously feeling more confident and trying to justify MASSIVE mistakes he made. He'd have much much more credit from me if he took some responsibility for both the good and the bad! He always says it's nothing to do with him, even after something good! No Gaz it's your job to make very important decisions that affect all the football side of the club! Admit that Selling Anelka nearly relegated us and that you angered more fans than any other Bolton manager in history by your decision to go out of the UEFA cup to try to stay up! Then I'll back you 100% absolutely...anyone who thinks that Megson was responsible for inspiring the team on his selections and tactical knowhow to keep us in the premiership want their bumps feeling... oh and they all made miraculous recoveries for Wigan on the Sunday didn't they? guy's a first class prick....he has a excuse for f*cking everything TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY CUNTYBOLLOCKS
May 13, 200818 yr absolutely...anyone who thinks that Megson was responsible for inspiring the team on his selections and tactical knowhow to keep us in the premiership want their bumps feeling... oh and they all made miraculous recoveries for Wigan on the Sunday didn't they? guy's a first class prick....he has a excuse for f*cking everything TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY CUNTYBOLLOCKS all managers make mistakes, the best make fewer mistakes and rectify mistakes quicker, playing rasiak at boro and spurs was a mistake, rasiak got injured at boro so megson got lucky, he did drag him off at spurs and rightly so, on the plus side he has signed 3 decent additions in january, not having any strength on the bench at lisbon was a monumental mistake, the jury will be out on megson until he makes more right decisions than wrong, I am prepared to give him a little bit of slack, only because further upheaval would yet again leave us in exactly the same position we were in last summer.
May 13, 200818 yr I know, let's get a new manager, one that will get the team to play attractive flowing football instaed of the nitty gritty up for a scrap type of play, I'm sure we'll be OK with that, won't we?
May 13, 200818 yr playing rasiak at boro and spurs was a mistake, rasiak got injured at boro so megson got lucky, he did drag him off at spurs and rightly so we all know that as does megson so why say, "yeah ok, rasiak wasn't the best but anelka was sold and he was the best we could do, thank fook I didn't spunk ?7M on Lita" instead of trying to make on Rasiak in his team yielded more points than Anelka now I've not seen this interview, if anyone has a link post it, but fook me did he really say the first team was injured for Lisbon? I'd like him to stay for the sake of continuity but with each passing team selection / interview / pose on the touchline wearing the wrong cap, I just think he is well out of his depth

I mereley suggested that cuntybollocks has a excuse for everything... I'm also of the opinion that he is well suited with our chairman...because cuntybollocks also seems to have formed the opinion that most of our fans have a very low IQ can be treated with contempt and are completely unable to remember what happened a matter of months ago... edit...yes Zico the lying mug did. May 13, 200818 yr Follow QPR's lead. No sentiments. Thanks for keeping us up pal; now here's your money- bye!!
May 13, 200818 yr And I forgot to add I give Nolan and davies more credit for pulling the club away from disaster than megson.

May 13, 200818 yr who's suggested that? Everyone who wants Megson to go now he's done his jobI mereley suggested that cuntybollocks has a excuse for everything... I agreeI'm also of the opinion that he is well suited with our chairman... because cuntybollocks also seems to have formed the opinion that most of our fans have a very low IQ can be treated with contempt and are completely unable to remember what happened a matter of months ago...I remember and I was there as disappointed as everybody else, but, he's kept us up in the Premier League edit...yes Zico the lying mug did.
May 13, 200818 yr cuntybollocks also seems to have formed the opinion that most of our fans have a very low IQ He's not wrong either.
May 13, 200818 yr And I forgot to add I give Nolan and davies more credit for pulling the club away from disaster than megson. Things is Mounts..unless the Kevs are a couple of right ar se lickers (I dont think these two are), they have quite a high regard for Meggers and what he has done for BWFC. At the risk of being a lone voice in a very large auditorium - I don't think Megson is as tactically inept as people are suggesting. For every Lisbon away - there has been a Munich - and I will say it again - Portsmouth at home this season was the best football I have seen us play in 2-3 years. The signings he has made (Rasiak accepted) have made a difference to our team....for the better.....IMVHO

Now the season is over he can now add more to that list.
May 13, 200818 yr now I've not seen this interview, if anyone has a link post it, but fook me did he really say the first team was injured for Lisbon? Here you go Zico. This is full BBC interview after the Chelsea game. Worth a listen to it all but if you just want to listen to what he said about Lisbon it's after about 2 minutes Meggo Interview Edited May 13, 200818 yr by Arnold Jackson

May 13, 200818 yr Hats off to Megson for keeping us in the Premiership, while it's not all down to him he was given the task of avoiding relegation and he did it by 1 point. Interesting to see what he does over the Summer, but if he doesn't sign at least 2 quality midfielders and a goalscorer we will be in a 4 way relegation battle with the promoted clubs as people have already said on this thread. And just for once, wouldn't it be nice to have some new signings settled in by August rather than signing them the day before the first game!
May 13, 200818 yr Managers who are too stubborn to admit fcuk ups like Rasiak often make more and more mistakes, thats what worries me the most. He could of just said we took a small gamble on a player and it didnt come off and didnt cost us a fortune.
May 13, 200818 yr Author Managers who are too stubborn to admit fcuk ups like Rasiak often make more and more mistakes, Then, that's 3 managers in a row.
