Your favourite memory of Supporting Bolton?

Mines personally my second game, it was 1997 and we were at home to huddlesfield, 1-2 down and Fransen Curling a freekick in to the top left corner in the 88th minute. to draw the game 2-2

my first game we lost 1-3 at home to crew

Hopefully bring back some good memories

It's not as long a go as you think...............the 2-2 draw at home to Huddersfield was in February 2001, we lost 1-3 at home to Crewe, two years earlier in February '99

the whole of the bryan munich trip

the moment any wanderers goal hit's the net, gotta be one of the best feelings around

Tony Kely's "goal" a Arsenal in the FA Cup replay. Tremendous free kick. The ref whistled early to book a gooner for encroachment and dissallowed the goal (incorrectly). We won anyway so it didn't affect the result but it was a peach of a free kick!

Swindon Semi Final, there was something magical in the air that night, oh and farewell to Burnden singing theres only 1 Andy Walker for the last time.

Then i am sorry! was it that late! Something was tickling my mind about those dates

2-1 win away at Scum, Nolan equaliser & when Ricketts bagged the winner i nearly creamed my kecks

FA cup wins away against Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal

All UEFA away games

1-0 win away at Blackburn in the 70s when Frank Worthy scored the winner and we gained promotion to the old 1st division, we filled 3 sides of the ground, we took over.

Manny Rd was a free for all in those days

That one for me too. We filled 3 sides and ran them in the Town End.

The other for me was the year we did the double over the filth - Alan Gowling the hero in Friday night 3-0 drubbing we gave them and Frankie Worthy scoring a double in the last 10 minutes at OT to beat them 2-1. Unforgettable.

I was at those 2 as well Bolty, Worthy far post tap in for the winner (if i recall) right in front of us at the score board end, i've got goose pimples thinking about it

The filth never walked around Bolton town centre in those days, they kept themselves to themselves.

Only thing i disagree with is that we filled 3 sides of the ground, it was nearer 4 ! They got run onto the pitch and had nowhere to go every side was Bolton.

'That' friday night at Hull will always be remembered, along with Reading in the play off final for me. =D> =D> =D>

Spot on Ani

Was in the Darwen end that night - anyone go to Cardiff the previous Saturday when we lost 1-0; we must of taken 7000 there and took over

I wouldn't say they were the best but after being 2-0 down at west brom in the play-offs coming back to 2-2 at our end of the ground was up there. Also the 1-0 game at rovers last year was one of the best we've had in a while, seeing them miss 2 penalties and the campo header infront of our lot, dont think they will be selling tickets that cheap to us again. They couldnt even get the score board correct

winning 1-0 away at ewood last season, campos header and jussi's two penalty saves in the last 5 minutes, we had about 7000 fans there, great day, great atmosphere and a great result!

One of mine too,and Hull away.

Agree with the other owd ćunts Mannyroad, Bolty and Ian about Blackburn promotion day and the 3-0 against the Filth.

I'd add Fulham championship winning day and the celebrations afterwards, Frank's goal against Ipswich, Reading, Swindon semi, Arsenal Cup away, stuffing Spurs 6(7)-1 etc etc, Bourgas, Besiktas, Wolves playoff etc etc

Aye, Forgot about that one Satan, wasn't it Scott Taylor who "scored" the disallowed goal?

top 5 for me would be

1. play off final versus reading

2. semi final versus wolves

3. city away in 97 when we won the laegue at main road (qued for tickets at 6am to get one for that game as they only gave us about 2000 official)

4. last game at burnden 4-1 against charlton

5 swindon in the semi final of the coca cola

good to think back to some good days - that 96-97 season in particular going for the 100 goals 100 points was one of the best seasons supporting bwfc - even the 0-0 at oldham at 2-2 at tranmere couldn't spoil our last season at burnden

preston, play off final

preston to get promoted from div 3

wrexham

hull

burnley, nine men
