Casino Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Aye, but as has been pointed out before, minor variations in ST prices which might make all the difference to potential punters amount to sod all in the light of the tv money. ?50 off 15,000 ST prices amounts to a loss equivalent to the prize money obtained by rising just one place in the final league position. The price - and indeed uptake - of the ST will have no influence on the overall buying power of the club. That is a stone cold, cast-iron fact. But, as the last few games home and away showed, bigger crowds can have dramatic effects on performance and ultimately, therefore, revenue. that in red isn't 'stone cold, cast iron fact' well, seeing as you put can, it is, but nobody can prove bigger backing in the last few games made a jot of difference otherwise, we'd have won at wiggin, and derby would surely have got more than 5 points all season
Casino Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 btw, is it just me or did the EN promised story fail to materialise?

FFS - the Wanderers Board have never thought like that ........ have they ?
SatanGreavsie Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 that in red isn't 'stone cold, cast iron fact' I never said it was

Big E Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 You'll be a ragging liverpool fan next if you carry on at this rate. "im only goin to the champs league games at anfield, coz they is boss laaa" and so on. now now stevie b. Everton at least
Big E Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 But if you are going to all the games anyway, its easier to pay upfront then all youneed is beer money. If you suddenly get 3 home games in a month, people site its too expensive. If we were winning every week I'm sure you would want to go midweek !! Go straight out after a 5-15, back in Manchester for 8 - perfect timing !! a 5.15 kick off plus a trip back to the border is makes it about 10 ish before i can be out.
Mounts Kipper Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 a 5.15 kick off plus a trip back to the border is makes it about 10 ish before i can be out. drink in Bolton, you would have more chance of getting your end away in bolton.
fruitbat69 Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 btw, is it just me or did the EN promised story fail to materialise? I was thinking that Cassie. Makes you wonder why BWFC haven't released any prices yet, maybe we are in for a shock when they are released.
