Would be suicide to put them up. Far to many empty seats at the moment and the priorty should be to get them folk back not to loose even more. Over the past 2 seasons I've knocked 90% of my away games on the head and that pissed me off at the time, but I am now use to not going. How long before I join the ranks of the ones already use to not going down to the Reebok? My priorities lie at Undies Towers not at Bolton Wanderers.

Blackburn have issued a press release today saying the BBC is not comparing like with like (most purchased on an early scheme). They also say reduced prices contributed to a rise in 12% in attendances at Ewood

Think we came third from bottom in the average attendences last season. I expect there will be no improvement this season as I'm sure the type of player Megson prefers will inspire nobody to come along who is 'on the fence' ... a large reduction in price may have seen the Reebok full again. As it is, I expect record lows

I think a "freeze" is as much as we could hope for really. I wonder, if the club did announce a 15% price reduction, would it make a great deal of difference to how many would buy a season ticket. I think a lot of people made that decision prior to any prices being released.

 

I certainly expect "record low" ST holders for us, as a PL club, but I would expect our attendances will still be around the same level as they have been in the season just gone, with more folk paying on the day

Thats going to mean even less season ticket holders, it would not surprise me if Wigan nearly match our average attendance next season, their ticket pricing is attracting new season ticket holders, new people watching football. We look expensive when compared with Blackburn and Wigan. Do not think i will renew, the first time for about 28 years, with the free junior whites tickets, bring a friend, special offers, working away and missing the odd game - not an attractive offer for me.

If you suddenly get 3 home games in a month, people site its too expensive.

Anyone got a list of the season ticket prices from last season?

It seems to have vanished off the official site.

Now, I'm trying to save money and an easy way to do this would be to not get a ST and then pick and choose which matches to go to. (and go for a fiver as someones friend )

However, I think if I stopped going for some matches I'd find it hard to motivate myself to go to others. I'd be one of them glory grabber types

Indeedydoodly. I've got an offset mortgage and despise paying interest to every penny stays in my bank account until the very last moment. People who give their money away for ease are either rich, stupid or both.

Last season we will have sold a record number of ST's since we moved to the Reebok (Premier league). The club have done nothing to address this.

some people on here will say that youre a jcl just because you've not got a s.t. iam in total agreement with you,there's no incentive to go,you won't be the only one not getting one,iam sure thousands of others will be in the same boat,

saturday afternoons in the pub's throughout the nation will be busy with people watching there relative teams in action.

i'll be one of them and will pick and choose my matches, if that makes me a jcl then so be it.

The financial interest you give up is negligable.

Also if you are paying each game, you might have an expensive month

and find that a big game that you did want to attend - you haven't the money for.

 

If it stays in your account you always end up wasting it on something else.

Its like when you get a payrise you always start with good intentions of saving so much

of it, but at the end of each month you have always spent it and can't remember what on.

Regardless of cost savings i don't know how anyone can choose to do something else if bolton are at home.

 

I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

 

I'll probably get an ST as my parents put to for my birthday present. even if i didn't have one i'd still be there.
