is this actually genuine or is some kind of bollocks rumour????? I personally wouldn't mind having him at the bok. Good solid, powerful defender and can score goals too! I think he scored 9 goals for watford last season, all from set pieces so that would be good to have. For ?2m its not too much of a gamble. he has prem experience and international exp and would provide good cover/competition

according to reports Megson wanted to bring in a replacement first before letting Meite go and I'm guessing he didn't know how long would take so he needed to take Meite with him to keep him fit + give him match practice in the event that his exit wouldn't happen.

 

as for youngsters according to people commenting on the game against chorley the youngster chris basham appeared to have a really good game winning everything in the air and on the ground. he's about 6 ft 3 and is only 18 years old. hopefully he will prove promising. we had a good young centre back last year called Kyle Bartley but he got pinched by Arsenal. He was over 6 ft, 16 years old and is likened to Sol Campbell. Not too sure about other young defenders like Ghembie. I hate how the BWFC official site no longer shows our young players in the reserves/academy like they used to as we don't know whose in their. other clubs websites always include a page on their sites. but then again the BWFC website is the crappist and laziest website there is!

I'd have him back in a shot, Faye conducting himself well before, during and after his move to Newcastle.

I don't know much about Shittu, just that he has a mildly amusing name. he does at least have PL experience, so as back up (which I am assuming is all he will be) then he is probably a good enough signing
