Spider Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) Ramadan simply proves what a tub & bucket religion Islam really is. A man with a cloth fruit bowl on his head spat on the pavement right where I was about to walk earlier. On questioning why I would want his insides all over my shoe he said "Ramadanadingdong innit mate pal boss" Now, I may not like Islamist types, but they bang on about how respectful and peaceful they are with a zen-like tolerance of other faiths when in actual fact the lot of them want shooting into space. They're all probably up Rivington right now smoking weed, w?nking, eating KFC and laughing at pictures of 9/11 as we speak. And yes, I am aware of how fragile the ice beneath my WW feet just became but I don't give a shite. Edited September 2, 2008 by Spider
Spider Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 Why didn't you just spit on his feet? I'm better than that Christian values
Traf Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I'm better than that Christian values Christian values? An eye for an eye etc?

no balls Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 You should've pitied him. No drinking, no smoking, no shagging AND no ice cream for a month. Obviously it isn't a civilised religion!
athywhite1958 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I upset a couple of bar boys on holiday last week, Turkey is a predominantly muslim country, I aske them would they be observing ramadam, they said they had dispensation not to because they were workers. I asked them to show me in the Koran where it said that and called them 'not true muslims', they weren't reet happy with that
Burndens Bogs Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Spiders spot on imo, but it always seems to become a circular argument on here between bedwetting apologists - and those who are right.

And those of us that are determined to keep this website up and running and those who have zero respect for other people's hard work.

Obviously it isn't a civilised religion! the fast began today interesting fact well it was something i hadn't realised ones i talked with they don't eat between 4 am and 8 p m other than that they can pig out Edited September 2, 2008 by Casino
Smiffs Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 It would be unfair to expect them not to eat for the whole duration of Ramadan, lets be honest.
globaldiver Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 It would be unfair to expect them not to eat for the whole duration of Ramadan, lets be honest. Will it be observed at Eastlands?
Carlos Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 they don't eat between 4 am and 8 p m I was under the impression that it was the hours of daylight, not set times.
Casino Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 makes more sense to me, must admit dawn til dusk sort of thing maybe its just to stop that little sneak of a hotdog just as its going dark
vinnybwfc Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 You should have smashed his fcuking face in spot on
Smiffs Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 It is. Workmate of mine used to do it, and if it fell during lighter months it was very hard for him. He'd have to get up at 4am, wash, eat, then do nowt until the sun went down. Come late afternoon he'd stink like a camels arsehole.
Carlos Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 spot on I agree. However, it seems that the radical thing to do these days is to moan about it on the internet.

It is dawn till dusk which obviously changes dependant on when Ramadan falls in the year, but I understand the exact times are agreed in advance each year to remove any ambiguity and to stop fat muslims being stoned if they went for the dougnuts 5 minutes early!!

I'll check with the Muslim lass at work tomorrow. An as for the guy who spat at Spiders feet he's a c?nt regardless of religion, so i don't see why his religion would come into it.
Carlos Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 who`s moaning ? not me And did I say you were? I give up.
vinnybwfc Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) I give up. thank fcuk for that !!! Edited September 2, 2008 by vinnybwfc
Alf Hartigan Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 i used to live next to a family of muslims, they knocked on my door every so often during ramadan with a plateful of decent nosh. something in the koran about respecting your neighbours, seems reasonable to me. in fact, a lot of things in any religion seem reasonable to me. and i'm not religious
bolty58 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 in fact, a lot of things in any religion seem reasonable to me. Aye but it's the unreasonable things which cause the problems. Most religions talk a good fight 'love thy neighbour', 'be kind to thy fellow man' etc. but, behind the scenes, many are some of the most vile evil doers in history. No, I am not singling out Islam. The Roman Catholic Church, for example, has been a murderous entity for centuries (not to mention the sexual activities of their priests). I am with you Alf. Atheism for me.
Zozzy Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I am with you Alf. Atheism for me. So there are at least two other people who have the same views as me. Thank God for that.
