Henrick_Pedigol Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) North Stand Lower, I bet Arsenal have never sang their team off after a 3-1 home defeat Good performance in the second half Their first goal was offside BUT We were pathetic for 20 mins after we scored still lacking creativity The game looked too quick for Smolarek, early days though Vaz Te should have buried his chance, will his confidence be shot for another 6 months? glasgowwhite Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Not many positives Singing good - pleased Champion & Burley did not patronise us by saying how well we got behind our team 1st goal was offside but irrelevant as for that 20 min spell they could have scored as many as they wanted. Arsenal were neither good nor bad, suppose only significant thing for them was loss of fullback after good challenge from KD. Lined up 4-5-1 at home - that is not really positive is it? Shittu - not good enough, end of. Meite is World Class compared. Why did that fall to Vaz Te? He is not good enough and we know it. Overall - our squad cannot compete in Prem Lge at the moment & to compound we have a very negative mgr, maybe return of Messrs Cahill, Taylor & Elmander will enable us to finish 17th? Will not hold my breath
Tombwfc Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 There was nothing at all negative about that. Three proper attackers up front, an early substitution with another attacker, and then four up front towards the end. Slate the fact that we fell apart trying to deal with pace in the first half by all means, but it was far from negative.
Smiffs Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 KD hit someone so hard they bizzed themselves through their ears. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/7613918.stm Clichy was taken to hospital for a scan on his left shit, but it revealed only bruising.
Traf Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Proper f?cking tackle, that was. Won the ball fair and square: booked because the cheese eating surrender monkey was a mard-arse and cried about it.
magic legs Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Weird game. Could have got dicked. Could have got a point. Overall something we can build on if we sort the midfielf out.

Good call.We are the one and only Wandereres, Bruce
SatanGreavsie Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Only stone cold, cast-iron negative was the fact that I queued for the whole of the half time break only for the last pie to go to the person in front of me
Didledee Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) I think there were 2 players online so even if Vaz Te got it passed Almunia it would of had to be perfectly placed , if he stopped as he had time he could of laid it off for Riga though . Edited September 20, 2008 by DidledeeBwfc

Traf Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Only stone cold, cast-iron negative was the fact that I queued for the whole of the half time break only for the last pie to go to the person in front of me Sounds like a positive to me, apart from the queuing obviously. Those pies could kill you.
Didledee Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Do I need to stay off the Jim Beam? I don't see how you can't understand my post ? Maybe i should of put ' the ' in between 'online ' as in on the line

Ani Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 apart from the result, the fact that no one thought to stand within 10 yards of cesc for half an hour and the fact that we are now just 4 of bottom, there were a lot more positives than negatives yesterday. the crowd got behind the team more than any game in last few seasons riga looks good nolan put a full shift in kev d's tackle was quality vaz te looks to have grown up

Little shit.
MickyD Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Sorry your right , maybe i should of changed it , but didnt realize i choose the wrong word . Oh deary me! The irony of replying to a criticism of your post and then having nine errors in the reply.
Mounts Kipper Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 RIGA, should be in every week, pacey direct and a real handful, I take back my pre-season comments regarding him, on the negative side what does anybody see in Joey obrien, he is gash.

J o'B better at right back for me Mounts. Hopefully Cahill will be back next week but next time either he or A o'B are out I think Stiensson in the middle and J o'B at right back would be preferable to Shittu.
