I don't know if anyone saw this - but well worth watching if you have not.

Couldn't give a shit what the pundits think - good signing IMO (as the clips show) and will only get better =D>

The Lad is getting better with every game, funny how the unattractive side f the game seems to be frowned upon by so called pundits, they love the cesc fabregas type players, but how many tackles and how many attacks does he break up in comparison to Muamba? I think Muamba will go on to a very succesful career, and I hope it is with BWFC.

Exactly

Look at Fabregas this season with no Flamini / Senna next to him doing the donkey work

Half the player

"Theres a player on the pitch tonight

he shines so bright

muamba!"...

Another of Smugson's duff signings.

i slated this lad early on,but fair play,he's making me eat my words

long may it continue

best line for that, is merson in the background, "thats pele init?"

Fcuk me, was that Paul Merson giving a positive comment about something to do with Bolton!

Best tackler in the prem FACT!

Best tackler in the prem FACT!

That is a massive statement... but you know what, I wouldn't disagree.

On the flip side of course if you'd said he was the worst finisher (or even passer) in the Premiership I couldn't disagree either.

McCann and Muamba have been instrumental in the run we have had recently and it's hard work and tackling which is mostly behind the recent excellent results.

If Taylor and Elmander keep up the recent good scoring run it will be happy days!

Be nice if Nolan could hit some form... he seems to being outshone in all departments at the moment.

Anyway back to the title of the thread. Well done Fabrice and well don Gary Megson!

Adams courts Fabrice Muamba

Tony Adams has already began courting Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba as a replacement for Real Madrid bound Lassana Diarra. Muamba signed for Bolton in the summer for ?5.5 million from Birmingham City.

The Arsenal schoolboy, who grew up idolising Patrick Vieira, has been in superb form for Bolton this season. Gary Megson would be reluctant to sell one of his prized assets, however, selling Muamba for a profit would release funds for Megson to purchase a much needed goalscorer.

Adams has been aware of Muamba due to his Arsenal links and is reportedly willing to spend up to ?10 million to bring the talented Englishman to Fratton Park. The Portsmouth manager is also considering moves for Arsenal trio Kieran Gibbs, Mark Randall and Gavin Hoyte.

They were, but agreed to sell a player yesterday for ?24m, the suns only 30p.

Theyve been laughing saying theyve got an exceptional offer for Diarra all week. So tell them we want an exeptional offer for Muamba as well, ?16 million or fcuk off.

We should keep him. He is young and can become a legend at the club in a few years time. Megson is slowly building a young team of British players who will come to fruition in a couple of years.

I concur!

Correct

I VERY much doubt Pompey will be shelling out ?10m plus, and I hope they don't

And I don't think they'll be so attractive to players either right now, Adams is a crank and they are a sinking ship IMO

He is a good player and will get better, pretty much what has already been said.

One part of his game he needs to work on is his control which lets him down badly. I know the showed clips of him on MOTD but they where taking the piss.

Complete bullshit story. Pompey are screwed financially, they admitted they had to sell. I know they have got a very good offer for Diarra (if stories are true at ?20m) but I still doubt they would want to splash half of that on all their january purchases, never mind just on one player. Especially when they have to replace Defoe, who will also go in January.
