I was driving down the M42 yesterday when the news came though on R5. After a bit they get an interview sorted with Wilf Lunn who used to be on Vision On with him. They ask him what he was like etc and then after a brief chat Wilf justs starts skriking down the phone. The presenter says summat to the effect of "it must have been sad news for you" to which he replies that he'd only just heard! So the first he'd heard of his owd mucker's death was when R5 rang him up and put him straight on air. As soon as he said that you could hear the atmosphere change in the studio - the presenter (Gaby Logan I think it was) and guests obviously feeling like a right set of ćunts. Very odd.
