January 18, 200917 yr i reckon guessing before the west ham sales is madness, but i'll play along city aint going down but hull are as are stoke and west brom
January 18, 200917 yr My revised table - figures are points + goal difference: City 34 Wigan 33 Fulham 28 West Ham 27 Spurs, BWFC 15 Sunderland, Newcastle, Hull 14 Pompey 12 Blackburn 10 Boro 6 Stoke 5 WBA 4 I'm a firm believer in this showing true colours once half the season is gone. So my prediction is Boro, Stoke and West Brom for the drop with maybe plummeting Hull or Pompey taking one of the the places instead. I really hope I'm wrong and it's Spurs though. Cockney ćunts.

If Sunderland had got Allardyce, then it would have been Blackburn and not them in danger.
January 18, 200917 yr Lets be honest, it really could be anyone. Spurs thought they were pulling away but found themselves bottom before today. Newcastle keep getting sucked back in. West Ham have suddenly got to 29 points. We have played 7 of the 8 games against the top 4 but look bloody poor at the moment. Easter before this gets any clearer.
January 18, 200917 yr A lot will hinge on the rhythm of results from now on in. Poorer teams could be thought of as going in 5/6 game cycles; so one of the bottom half going 5 good, 5 bad then 5 good should survive. But change that to 5 bad, 5 good, 5 bad then they're fućked. So form over the next few games is the key; gives you the chance to have a bad spell before the final push. Or summat

January 19, 200917 yr All 6 are winnable, particularly the last 4. I know Fulham are doing alright, but they are still sh*t away from home.
January 19, 200917 yr All 6 are winnable, particularly the last 3. How many times do we feck up the "winnable" ones (see WBA, Wigan, Blackburn this season) same last season! Its gonna go to the wire for us, unless Mr Megson brings in some more quality I know Fulham are doing alright, but they are still sh*t away from home. Drew at Villa Park 0-0 and at Anfield 0-0!!??

Its gonna go to the wire for us, unless Mr Megson brings in some more quality Drew at Villa Park 0-0 and at Anfield 0-0!!?? True, but they have also have the away record of won-0, drawn-5, lost-5. And they still have, United, Arsenal, Chelsea and City to go to. That to me is a shit away record.
January 20, 200917 yr True, but they have also have the away record of won-0, drawn-5, lost-5. And they still have, United, Arsenal, Chelsea and City to go to. That to me is a shit away record. True that they have only lost 50% of their away games. When (and if) they loose to manure the arse, chelski and citeh. the way record could be constued as poor. JSL
January 20, 200917 yr http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/20...h?commentpage=1 This is a decent read, not the article, but the comments left below. If the opinions of other club's fans count, we will be ok. Seems to be 3 from:- Stoke WBA Portsmouth Newcastle Sunderland I really think Newcastle are going to drop this year. If only Nolan had stuck that penalty away.
January 20, 200917 yr I think if we stay up, it will say more about the rest of the league, than it will say about ourselves.
January 20, 200917 yr I think if we stay up, it will say more about the rest of the league, than it will say about ourselves. As it did last season.
January 20, 200917 yr And every season since the dawn of time. Except the seasons where we finished well clear of the bottom 3, I'd say.
January 20, 200917 yr Not really, it's a league. Obviously your final position has as much to do with other teams as it does with the points you get. When we finished 8th, was it because we were good, or the likes of Spurs, Villa ect were shit? A bit of both. Seems a bit obvious to me.
No idea who's going down.
